You can even say out of the accurate graph that OF was more harmfull to Phoenix then NF, in its last month. But hey.. all players that left did it because of the changes the Devs made, not because their interest simply droped. (with or without changes)
I'm really happy that the staff is listening to its community.
And if Phoenix showed anything to all 'screamers' then that:
It doesnt really matters what you are doing with the freeshard. No matter whats getting changed, what course you choose as developer. The player decline is there and will stick declining until just a handfull of people is left.
This game (daoc) has so many diffrent playstyles as there are players, you cant favor or fit everyones.
You can make QOL that the majority loves, but there will be some people that dislike those changes and leave.
You can say (like uthgard did) you stick to a old liveversion, no matter what the community want.. and you will fail as well.
