With the general sense of not really have a fully temped char or even with a fully temped char, this is what I've found out playing the 3 realms on Phoenix.
Arms are supposed to be the "Hero" or " Warrior" equivalent when it comes to utility and damage based attacks with heavier weaponry.
**Armsman** hits for roughly low 200-300 give or take. (level 50) ((my arms with close to 400 str))
**Warrior** hit for roughly 400-600+ (level 50)
**Hero** hit for roughly 400 (level 50) with better defense than most melee classes throughout the realms.
Hell, even Hunters hit for around 200 give or take with a pet, speed and stealth and an advantage from range.
I'm just trying to get past the trolls in /advice and come to the forums with a suggestion due to most albs realm hop or just have an alb toon to troll /advice and defend that albs are somehow overpowered and we don't need anything cause we're so OP. This is extremely frustrating when it comes to Devs trying to actually balance this server.
We need to stop fooling ourselves with what IS and IS NOT balanced.
There is no reason why an armsman can't deal more damage than what's given. This is highly unfair in RvR and provides the only needs for an arms to be a slam-bot or peel while the casters do the damage/debuff for said damage. Let's be real, there is no **Charge** and this is now dark age of cast a lot.
Tired of hearing "Working as intended" or "someone died in RvR" quotes..... you're not helping the issue- and if you really think there isn't an issue then you're lying to yourself and do not understand what balance/mitigation means.
Simple suggestion for arms to increase their damage output OVER utility...
**Get rid of the arms snare anytime(keep side snare)** we don't need utility, we need damage.
**Add their damage boost** sad that you would need to add 100+ damage to compare to warrior and still do less damage on average.
Scouts melee is trash **when compared to it's counterparts**((yes they have slam, but I don't want to really see their melee get boosted, I'd rather see their Bow damage get boosted, they shouldn't be good melee as they have been utilized mainly for their ranged damage)) (((just not on phoenix for some reason)))
Arms melee needs help bad, 2h or pole.. both really.
Mercs deal decent damage for some reason, but no Charge so... not really utilized for it's dps ever.
Lots of unbalanced issues. I would like to make all 3 realms actually balanced. but that's another post for another time.
