Why is RvE/PvE way more worth then RvR/PvP

So in last days, figured out RvE gives way more RPs then RvR

My personal opinion: Keeptake is same as PvE/RvE. You hit mobs.

i.E:
1. I run 4 hrs in brain afk or even full afk in zerg, and got like 100k RPs
2. Run 4 hrs only RvR, without takin any keep and youll be happy about 50k RPs depending on the action.

So there is alot love for Zerg and Keeptake. But nothing for ppl that like to PvP only.
Why was there a change to the task, if there is now only big bonus for the Keeptaker?

DAoC is and was always a game ppl that either liked competetive (8vs8, 1vs1) plays or more relaxed (Zerg/Keeptake). I dont see any great reward for ppl that beat iE a fg. This fights can take more time then a keeptake does. (5 min for 1 keep is easy doable) Youll have a small amount of participation, take Keeps in same time and youll have like double or even 3times more RPs depending on the keepstate in your realm. Of course you can say as a competetive player, you dont need RR otherwise youre noob. Try once to fight a high RR FG without add and talk to me again. Youll be rly rly lucky to have a clean fight. Alot ppl i know stoped already, cause of that topic. They simple not interested in Keeptakes. But finding ppl outside or not on a keep or in a big zerg is currently rly rare. At least on EU time.

So in my opinion the task system needs again a rework or at least an extension for PVP player. Beating people in a fair fight should give some task bonus thats kinda same as keeptasks. Currently there is no point for player to run not in zerg. Reward is way more better also you can do it afk. Sad.

The zerg usually running at 8k - 10k/h not at 25 k /h as you suggest.
If you can't top those numbers better stick to the zerg anyways

I am not discounting your ideas but what or how does the game determine what is a "fair" fight? Is it fair to have a scout kill my eld with two arrows as I try to leave DL? Is it 1v1, 8v8? How do you define fair?

That is not true. Peeps that are active (and good at what they do) in a BG, will get more RP's than those who afk and get only the tasks.

As you can see I managed to get to 1st in top 20 while leveling 48-50 (pic taken when I was 1.8bubs from 50) in about ~10h of bg / small men / 8m, ended up with 180k+ like 30m later when I dinged 50 and stopped my session. Was mana spec, ST on TWF and aoe dot (no NM on mentalist, only passives etc).

So getting into the thick of it and knowing what to do does increase your gains, compared to those who are semi-afk or not doing much at all.

You purposefully spread misinformation? Are you part of the Hibernian PR spin team?

42,14% of hibvotes were for OF, 57,86% of hibvotes were for NF??

I am not a NF-fan, but i still have to acknowledge that all realms vote majoritywise for NF.
Hibs are still the realm with the highest OF-vote-%, but they still majorly voted for NF

Ya you’re not reading between the lines. Bumbles gets it. You don’t. Of course I read the chart. Bigger percentage of hibs voted for OF than did mids and hibs - look at the animist vote.

i am not saying there is more to the vote than: the majority voted NF....but someone making that claim isn'T spreading misinformation, as you acusse them off

It's irrelevant how many voted for OF on each realm, the majority pop on all 3 realms voted for NF, and this is facts. Myself included, vote for OF by mistake being spammed in chats / disco / bg / grp etc, couldn't take my X back so it is what it is.

And don't worry, all 3 realms will do great in NF, hopefully we will get more open field zerg fights and tons of action in EV than keep takes (which we did plenty in NF test week and everyone loved it, same as we all loved the big brawls FFA near DC past saturday).

This comment ties back to the farming thread where clearly Ginny is playing pr/communications officer and trying to spin that animists are no better farmers than anyone. Let’s see how many afk scripting shamans have been banned. Either way some of you are hung up by the fact that I didn’t say “more” hibs voted OF. Oh well, thought it was understood but mea culpa - not all languages get nuance.

the only thing i am hung uip on, is you calling someone elses correct information (even if not conclusive) purposely spreading misinformation....

If you don't see what'S wrong with that, then i don't think you are in a place to call out anothers hypocrisy, no matter what they have said in other threads (and i agree with you that the claims in other threads were quite ridicolous)

I’ll learn to live with your limitation
