Disconnects but stable internet Connection

Dear Staff,

since 2 days i get thrown out of the game regurlarly in 20-30 minute distances. I have green ping, and nothing i do ingame seems to cause this issue.

From one second to another i get thrown into the ''Hit esc to exit the game'' screen, with no issues in advance, no lags, no nothing.

Also i can log back in really quick, like i hit esc and 30 seconds after my ld i can log back in.

Any suggestions?

Same problem, several others in the other post with the problem as well. Bug has been submitted on the tracker. Don't know of any current fix for it.

Yep, same here. I receive the following message after disconnection:

"An error has occurred. The server has closed your connection. You have been disconnected."

Traceroutes are clean, happens with or without VPN. Tried German VPN servers and others. No dice.

NA here PST I have been getting this sme drop from the server all night. At first I was able to just relog in but as time progressed it takes longer and longer to log back in. Tried different PC/Router same problem. It seems to me its a server issue

Ich machs mal auf Deutsch da wohl viele das Problem haben. Seid dem Server Crash gestern schmiert ständig leider die Verbindung ab, tragisch im Pull. Seid heute morgen schon 2 mal gehabt, dachte es lag an meinen Internet wohl eher am Server

the DCing was happening prior to the DDoSing (the DCing was happening wednesday and onward to anyone that had used the patchers , it was having nothing to do with DDOSING)

I can confirm that this happened already on Wednesday. Patched on Wednesday afternoon, several disconnects during the evening. Connection in between perfect, no lag or similar.

Replace your current files with these. Fixed the constant LD's for me and others.

Yep I already updated those files and downloaded them. Was working fine all night I didn't have any DC for 5 hours up until this morning. Logged off for an hour then couldn't get back in so I patched live client and could get back in but seem to DC every 30 mins or so, not the regular Linkdead dc either.

And i have to re patch live which is already patched and i can usually get in. But not every time

I had to reinstall the game last night because I needed the option button to work which was disabled with the craft fix files (which are actually the files above that we used to fix crafting back in April before server added the fix button) As a result, all day today, I was LDing as well every 15 min roaming and in DF and had to log off after every 3rd qbind set up to avoid freezing and not saving it. I wiped my computer again from all the files and did another clean cut reinstall which helped qbinding issues but not LDing. Replacing the files mentioned above was my only option at this point after trying everything else I could dig out of forums. So now, I am back to option button not working but LDing every 15 min stopped. Super happy. Just make sure that you have all you settings set the way you want in options prior to replacing these files and you are good to go. Thank you for posting these.

I know forums posted that logging in with another page then relogging back with page 0 is not a thing, but most of the times that is the only way I could log into the game. I would avoid re patching live honestly, seams as if it is the cause of LDing every 15 min. Had no issues even during these attacks besides times when everyone LDed, but when I had to reinstall this game last night, cause I needed the option button to work, that's when all the constant LDing issues started. Replacing these files is the only thing that helped me to play again and I spend the whole day trying to fix this.

Any ETA to fix this Problem ? it´s kinda boring when u are in RvR and has every 30 -60 minutes disco and when u are log back at a keep thats under siege, u get will be ported back to your TK. After 5-6 Disco it´s really annoying, hope that Phönix find a solution for that.

I'm in thidranki and the link dead timeout is about how long it takes to find a decent fight.

But anyway. If this is EA's fault, (and we can blame it on them regardless) let me get this straight.

Company A. destroys a game that people love. Company B recreates said game that people love. Company A destroys company B's game that people love for what purpose? Expecting people to come back to company A? ROFL!

This was happening to me as well the last couple of nights, LD every 10-15 min while in FZ's, while some guildies had no LD issues at all. One of them sent me his game.dll and I went out tonight with 0 LD's. Maybe a coincidence, but who knows yeah?

Since 3 days, i have lot of LD's every 20-30 minutes. I tried to launch camelot.exe and then phoenix but nothing, ld about 24 minutes in game. And i have to launch the game 4 or 5 times for it to work.

Since the last patch it's hard to play well....

it is cause someone is DDOSing the server. not much we can do about it, but being patient.
