It was never a bug or an exploit. Poisons always acted like that as far as I know. I know about it all have spent alot of plat to get the weapons

Its been like this all through the beta until now and the staff have been well aware. Calling it a bug or exploit is not true. Switching allowing you to auto switch mh/oh with 1 key has been what makes it insanely OP. And I guess ppl cried enough to get it changed.
It was never intended to work that way, but on live it was kept instead of fixing it as a way to artificially boost assasins who were underpowered at the time. It was indeed an exploit (because it wasnt an intended change) that was kept as a "feature".
We could just take exploit in a different way. Would you class ppl using lag/run through to land back/side stuns an exploit or game mechanics? its not meant to be like that bit it is. To me exploiting something is like gold duplication bug found I run out quickly make 100p trying to take advantage of something not intended then it gets fixed. This has been in the game for god knows how long. Was never explained as a bug or something people should not do. So I really don't class it in anyway as an exploit. They could have changed this much much sooner but didnt meaning it was not classed by them as an exploit. Its a balance change not a fixing of a bug.
Exploit like the SC one which got fixed and rolled back and ppl lost items. There not rolling back or banning or warning ppl about swapping poisons over the last 4 months. No exploiting I feel anyway.
Exploiting game mechanics. Meaning you are using game mechanics to get an advantage beyond their intended implementation. Whether that be drag and dropping a dozen different weapons (be honest, is that something the community would have wanted to fix a dps issue?), using geometry to be unhittable, gold duping etc. The fact that others "can do it too" doesnt really change what it is. Now that being said, since this mechanic was kept as a way to boost assasins DPS when they were struggling(until someone found it out on live ages ago) it became inherent to the class. Which is why they boosted Viper. Whether that is enough to bring them in line remains to be seen.
