Hey, just curious if as a Lurikeen I should use piercing weapons or if blades would be better due to resists from other realms? I know being high dex likely gimps the blades, but I wanted to know if the trade off was worth it?

I appreciate the guide, i'm still unsure on if the race affects all this. If I wasn't intent on going pure archer, would you still suggest blades even though my STR is going to be so much lower than a Celt/Shar? Is there a certain point where you just say go for pierce? I'd ideally like to focus on Archery as I duo with my brother who plays a NS, though I would like to maximize my melee ability when needed. Thanks again.

My recommendation is go hybrid with Blades. It will even work with a Lurikeen if you have your heart set on a Lurikeen, otherwise go Celt or Shar. The 39 Blades style is a must when fighting other meleers. If you go higher Archery (up to 40) then I would recommend Pierce if you can't get 39 Blades, and only use melee to break away for more shots. However you mentioned that you wanted to be at least decent in melee so that brings us back to Blades. There's another thing: Pathfinding just isn't that good on this server so you might want to adjust from what is currently written in the guide. After I do some field testing (aka RvR) I will have some better reports on what Pathfinding should be with various builds.

45 stealth (higher move speed)
50 bow (max damage)
36 PF (highest DA I can afford with rest of points)
Rest in pierce and CD
I’m tempted with MP 5.5 bow, Buff pots, 75 dex/quick charge. RAs in falcon eye, aug dex, purge 2, LW, tireless. I’m having an absolute blast. Bow hits like a tank and I just use melee to pop stealthers near zergs/groups and let them handle it.
45 stealth is great since I move faster than every other stealther and with RAs my bow spec is 65.

So would a template like this be reasonable?
Stealth - 45
Blades - 39
CD - 18
Archery - 45
PF - 8
I was using the Character Planner and that's what I came up with.

For me I was
36 stealth
34 pierce
29 CD
49 bow
Rest in PF
It was fun but recharging is getting expensive and I hate to farm for plat so I just respec to this
36 stealth
25 pierce
11 CD
40 bow
48 PF (d/q delves for 60)
Higher dmg add helps offset things, when fights turn to melee I attack with diamondback with backup style of like black widow chain and just hope I get a stun off to get some bow shots in. (Which usually happens at least once in a fight due to being a luri with high dex and cap quick)
Higher stealth seems fun tho but I dunno. I know some with 48pf, 40 stealth, 45 bow, rest pierce and they do pretty good just have no chance in melee

What does your dex/quick buff hit for? It should be higher than the delve.
