Remove 9 sec stun from Bm´s and Mercs

Think it would only be fair to remove slam or even shield from Blademasters and mercenaries.

Seems way too op atm for at light tank.

yeah thats one change which live did good champ/pala/reaver should also lose it and make it shorter like it is on live the people with skill can than drop shield to 35 and use the sitestun which is longer

I die a lot right after being slammed. Even so, with purge in the game i don't think it should be removed.

Whilst their at it can they remove the BASELINE 9s Stun on Hib casters..... ty , Put it intoa SPECLINE

I would be all for this, except with determination being on all melee classes casted stuns aren't strong enough. There would be nothing to slow anyone down....

I for one am much more grateful for root on my caster, than stun.

Sure I'd get yelled at for rooting a det9 tank, so they can't be snared, but imagine how angry the tanks would be if they found out I had used a casted stun on a det9 tank...

Root is a killer of push group, having your support rooted when you charge over a hill means your group is dead.


But casted stuns are nice in static battles.

So Midgard has nothing to slow anyone down?

i don't neccessarily agree with outright removal of slam on BM/merc but that counter argument is really silly, every class on midgard with slam has a counterpart on hib/alb with slam. Bersi doesn't have it though.

it's a realm imbalance for sure, is it one that needs to be adressed or is it one of the differences, is a different question

which are affected by resists/det and interruptleable and maybe last 2seconds then, slam on the other hand... only purge helps there, if slam would last only 6 or 7 secs it would still be specced and it would still be useful

Thanes and warrior have slam... Berserkers are all out offense so they don't get slam... Every 8 man should run warrior, they are the best fighter class in the game so take advantage.

i am a bit confused about why you think i needed that lecture...i was responding to your comment about nothing being there to slow anyone down...listing all the other that are still there to "slow someone down" with melee stuns. I think you misunderstood something in my comment.

nah, i meant more that there would still be plenty of slams in alb/hib if BMs and Mercs would lose it. (not saying they need to lose it though)

Mercs and BMs losing Slam would change nothing, as the Reaver/paladin/armsman/hero/champion on their melee trains would just pick up the slack.

Midgard unfortunately has this hard on wherein all Warriors must stay back and peel and can't be in the train. That's more of a problem than mercs/BMs having redundant skills.
