Gearing Up In RvR, Through RvR

Please make all items that can be purchased with Feathers also be purchasable with Bounty Points. Similar to the way the Reskin vendor does this. It would be great if players could gear up in RvR and this would get us one step closer.

Also please consider increasing the amount of Gold that drops in RvR. Templating is expensive, RvR is the end game and it should be self sustaining. I had to buy a house to sell my ROGs, which took all of my money (someone loaned me 500g), and luckily my items sold so I can now afford to AC my gear.

As long as you still need the kill credit I think this isn't a bad idea.

Yeah, honestly once you hit 50 it shouldn't be so hard to get money via RvR, I'm all for increasing gold for killing players. I think feathers are fine as they are, as there should be some incentive to run PvE raids, but there should definitely be an RvR alternative as well via BPs or some other means, but it should be a bit harder than just straight up running the raid IMO.

the settings on this server are, if you consider every aspect carefully, very well made. Crafter focused players, as well as PvE focused and RvR focused players can easily gain money whilst following their wishes ingame.
The question is time.
The OP states, that basically he wants to get it faster if not instantly.
If you want to optimize your money/item/temp gain, then you want to enter a different world (PvE) as well and invest 1h every day/2nd day to run epic dungeon for feathering up.
If you just refuse to PvE then you will take longer.
I think this was the intention of the staff when asking themselves how to aquire BiS items.
Imagine you could buy all the BiS items also with Bounty Points. You had way lesser participation in epic dungeons and PvE focused ppl would definitely have the drawback.

In any light, the server has a very good mixture of the different spheres when it comes to playtime. Just imagine other models that have been implemented either on live or other freeshards.

only those which rvr 8hours every day, I maybe rvr 1-2 hours since I hit 50 and got maybe 15k bp

Time Spent and Effort Spent should make BP more valuable than Feathers. 2 Hours in Sidi nets almost 15,000 Feathers and most players are AFK. 2 Hours in RvR for a average 8-man (below RR5) nets around 2,000 BP. A Reskin costs 15,000 (iirc) Feathers while the same skin cost 5,000 BP, that would be a good metric to follow for the other items as well.

My main point was to get more players out in to RvR by making items obtainable through RvR, instead of constantly running dungeons or farming NPCs for loot. It should be much more attractive to RvR to gear up than it currently is.

Heavy misrepresentation imo

Do you only gain BPs when RvRing? No, they are one of many rewards. As well as gold, RPs, skillgains and ofcourse FUN-RVR
AFKing Sidi nets you feathers, and nothing else.

So many people that can't understand that DAoC was so good exactly because it was like it was and not despite.

And in DAoC RvR and PvE and Crafting existed next to each other and noone could only do the one and not the other and have the best experience.

What Phoenix did was to accelerate all three aspects but still leave all of them their role and place. And because of this Phoenix also works.

So getting everything for just RvR would kill the server bc it would kill the community. You can not raid in an 8-man for a good reason.

I'm not sure what the OP is complaining about as you can already get all the feathers you need to gear up, by just RvRing if you participate in the realm war and not just 8v8 duels. You gain feathers for keep takes, keep defenses, and lord kills. It just isn't as many as you can gain in as little time as doing a PvE raid.
