Best rvr duo - Phoenix Freeshard

Plan on playing Hibernia at launch and wondering what people think the best rvr duo is. We were thinking champion+something else but are open to all options whether it be stealth or visi.

If you want to duo in RvR, it will bard + X

Strong choices for the X are BM, champ, hero, Ment, Eld, Chanter

ofc not

After debuff, every Char falls after 2 casts from ench + menta.
And they have speed, Caststun, Mezz, demezz, Charm for some awesome pets with CC capabilitys, enchpet which snaring and heatassist...

When you got more get killed then kill other, you made something wrong.

But Ceen, what do you advise the threadcreator?

Bard + any dps will do the trick, in the beginning bard + ench is probably best due to zerginess. If there are proper 2vs2 then bard + champ but I would roll bard + ench.
Its eazy to play, bard + menta might be a bit more fancy but in the end its debuff nuke dead while menta is still trying to get a kill ^^ KISS principle
With ench speed you will get zerged over and over and over again.

I dont share your assumption, ench speed is too slow. Ofc they dont have bardspeed, but enough tools to rupt and slow the enemy group with pets to escape.
And it depends in my mind how you act. Ofc you should not take the usual ways to move to fz.
And another important thing is the farmingside to get temps and plats which are menta and ench superiour.

Don't forget the Empyrean elder you can charm that heals for 500 and does spec buffs!

I stay with my words: Ench Menta is best duo in rvr, even bard ench can work too ofc

And btw... fair fights are rare, mostly menta and ench are formidable to add fights or kill lvler

All it takes is two sneaks to rip that duo. If they purge the QC cc youre done. Thats if they even need that. Minstrel + anything or hunter + anything which there will be lots of them sneaking around.

Minstrel + Infiltrator = mezz + PA + laff. Or, if you purge the mezz, mezz + you purge + stun + perf + laff. But then, purging the mezz isn't generally a good idea against a solo minstrel or minstrel+scout, so you probably won't purge until the PA hits you and you realize you should have.

I don't play them. I fear them, as should any solo / duo, visible or stealthed. If you aren't this, figure out what you're going to do about this. In my case, it's generally hide from them and/or die to them. The only other generally viable option I can think of is to outnumber them. If your duo has success overpowering them when they get the jump on you, then let me know what you rolled, please.

Bard + X for sure

Bard + BM probably my favorite since BMs can slam and rip

Bard + Eld/Ment would be my second choice but casters are so squishy it can end real fast.
