Speed Enhancement (Grp, Pulse)

Please consider the following for PvE and PvP gameplay.

Since the implementation of realm hasteners, classes that otherwise don't have access to speed are able to participate more freely, however upon combat, the buff breaks leaving players with very limited movement - obviously this happens frequently in PVP/RVR.

Allow classes Bard, Skald and Minstrel with the ability Speed Enhancement (Grp, Pulse) be modified such that the ability becomes a realm radius of effect. This would allow for more participation and ease of travel to the number of classes that do not have access to speed themselves.

The suggestion above would allow players moving together in large scale combat, battlegroups, more ease of participation - particularly for classes that are traditionally not grouped frequently . Realm Points (RP) are where the people are!

I hope this discussion expands the realm effects (movement, heals, buffs) topic or potentially the Battlegroup (BG) being seen as a "group" and therefore affected by group effects.

Thank you to the Phoenix Team and fellow players! Its not fun without everyone!

I'm not strictly opposed to granting the BGs some benefits, but making Speed an AOE effect would have an impact on all smaller scale fights.
Especially in smallman scenarios it's a valid strategy to cc/kill the speedster and get away with speed/SoS when getting overwhelmed. In addition, the randomly passing speedster or group could interfer with ongoing /gvg fights by granting speed to players out of position without speed and by that, even without straigt forward adding, make the fight uneligible for /gvg cf.
If these worries are taken into consideration, I'd think this change would be ok.

Would personally like to see this as it'd make zerg surfing more user-friendly and feel less crappy when you can't convince a speed class to group with you.

No
But I wouldn’t mind seeing the gaps between each speed decreased so it’s no so much of an advantage.

By decreasing the overall max speed or by increasing the (lower levels) "caster/Hastener" speed(s)?

Skald/Minstrel/Bard (spec) -
144 - 159 - 174 - 189 - 204

Healer (spec) /Runemaster (base) /Theurgh (base) /Sorcerer (base) /Enchanter (base) /Warden (spec) -
124 - 132 - 139 - 147 - 154

Getting around is too slow as is

Increase base speed to some point then adjust speeds 1-5

I’d lower max speed and make long-distance travel a function of controlling keeps and/or docks.
