Phoenix has been doing so much right. There is still quite a bit to be done.
The realms tasks are a great way for low rr players to get some rp, ranks, etc.. They bring the action to all corners of the frontiers. It is great.
The Phoenix Herald is a good way for players to track their RP progress.
But once the RR gain starts slowing down, will the population stay strong?
The kill tasks are fun too. Maybe they could be expanded upon like Kill 10 players solo in Jamtland Mountains or Kill 10 full groups as a full group in Breifine.
What else does Phoenix have to offer?
Relics I feel could be key here. They can bringout all types of RvR players, and hopefully the zerg will play an essential part. Relic war really needs to be something special.
What are some other ideas or systems that can keep the RvR thriving on Phoenix? Something that involves all of the RvR community. A lot of games use seasons and resets to entice players, but obviously that is not totally applicable to DAOC.
What thoughts do you have?
