Mcnasty is deleted. Don't use a mouse recorder kids. Pretty severe punishment for a 1st time offense, but rules are rules. I will be making something new in 14 days...hope to see you solo's out there again in the near future.
Used a little mouse recorder on my necro to click heal ability, farming XP tokens. I'm still in shock that all my characters are deleted and the suspension. A lot of blood sweat and tears went into my infiltrator...

I totally agree its pretty severe. You can even be punished if you go afk with pet on defensive. Kind of silly imo, but still much better than that other classic server, where if you told people not to add you they considered it harassment and banned you.

there is no way to check how much of the chars were levelled with botting there is no way to check how much money/items/etc. were farmed with botting
Botting is a huge problem and has destroyed plenty of MMOs, just because you know the person affected doesn't mean the punishment is now too harsh. He is still allowed to play on phoenix...i know no MMO which wouldn't permaban when you are caught botting. You should be surprised that a person you (apparently) know as fine and nice dude, would go that low and cheat by using a bot. And not excuse it because you are sad he has to relevel. DoubleStandards
Yeah I don't get why people are telling it's too harsh. Did they tell that to all the people getting their toon deleted and banned for 2nd offense? There is a whole ban section you can check, you don't even need to read the ToS...

Speed Hacking results in a perma ban. Usage of Radar tools results in a perma ban. Multi boxing results in a perma ban for the "bot" account and a 3/7 days/perma ban for the "main" account. Edit: tpyo.
Is anybody ever reading our rules? Or is it just a box that you have to click when creating an account?
4. Client Modifications You may not modify any part of the Dark Age of Camelot client. This includes but is not limited to: Any hardware or third-party software, altering movement speed of your character, revealing positions of enemy players (as Radar), Jump-Hacks, Client mods that change weather pattern, fog, terrain, or object positions.
If you get caught using any of these, you will get a perma ban. So tell me, where is this less "harsh" than a 14 days ban & deletion of all toons?
It is really disappointing to see how many of you think that botting "isnt a crime". It is besides the above stated 3rd party tools and gold selling, the worst thing which can happen to this server and to those players, that are trying to get the xp items or level up their toons in the intended way. Never asked yourself why some players have so much money and are able to pay way much higher prices? Im not saying that all are using scripts but some do. Or where does all the money from a plat seller come from? Def not by playing inside the rules. People that are using any kind of script, programm or the dog who is pressing the same key always after the same amount of time (no joke, heard that excuse more than once) are really harming the server and its community. Therefor the punishment isnt too harsh at all.
Besides that, it is in the rules (yes, read them, it is cool), what your punishment will be if getting caught using a script or similiar. 5. Macroing It is allowed to bind multiple actions to a key, however, delays, repeats, and conditions are strictly forbidden as well as any other means that allow unattended game-play
1st offense: Deletion of all characters and 2-weeks ban 2nd offense: permaban of Player
And last but not least, talking about rules:
12.1 Banned accounts have zero rights.
12.2 Public discussions about already enforced punishments are strictly forbidden in game, on forums and on discord.
