A more detailed name generating would help by building temps. So please give items other names when they r higher than 50 utility and higher than 70 utility or something. Maybe a new name for every 10 utility pts.

Actually a great idea.

Maybe use the gem quality prefixes, so 100+ utility would be "Polished Supreme xxxx"

You'll end up with some annoying long names that way (Polished Supreme Shadowwalker Necklace)

Should split "Supreme" into 2 or 3 tiers of lv51 jewelry. Currently Supreme junk can roll between 15 to 130 on utility, and even being masterpiece doesn't stop it from being an abhorrently low roll

Agree with the others, this is an excellent idea. So tired of wading through garbage to complete a template.

Why not a simple automatic sort from highest to lowest utility

Pretty sure the current ROG naming system assigns a name based on the level range of gear, however the Market Explorer already allows you to search by level range, so maybe that naming aspect could be reworked to describe utility instead of adding an additional word to the already lengthy names.

An even better option might be to add a new utility range option (like level and quality) to the Market Explorer search, but that could be a more daunting coding task.

Just allow us to search items based on min/max utility. We already do that with level, qua, and price.

This should be a no brainier...

I am pretty sure they cannot add another search function to the market explorer.

This seems like a good suggestion, but I do wonder if it would have an impact on prices. I have a feeling that many people don't even both searching housing for ROGs because it's tedious, making the demand lower and forcing sellers to lower their prices. If it was much easier to find those high utility ROGs, would the prices increase?

Hard to say. A lot of players aren't in touch with the market's current prices, and I don't know any that drop their price in order to be seen more. This certainly would exert a lot of pressure on sellers that overprice (for example, selling 40 utility item for 300 gold--nobody will buy this).

Yup, I've also seen things like 50 util items being thrown up there for 3p so, people are just greedy on this server in just about every aspect they can be imo.

Same as Chester from raids
