Assassins, logically, are the prime rogue class. This is why detect hidden was initially given to the class for an advantage as a melee class vs ranged classes, such as archers.
Archers can delve out massive damage from range, which makes an assassin their one true counter.
Minstrels, are the songsters of the Albion court. They are musicians first and foremost, or, as in this fantasy rpg, a speed class that offers group benefits. However, Minstrels have the ability to see assassins, the masters of the rogue game, at the exact same units as an assassin can see them.
May I ask, how is this explained? Was this an intent to grant Albion a stealth advantage over the other realms? There's no other (rpg or otherwise) reason as to why a minstrel has this ability.
Secondly, it states clearly that a minstrel sees an assassin at 125 units. It does not state that the minstrel is in any way limited by their own most likely lower stealth score (to climb walls, for example, 25 stealth?).
It just sounds as if a minstrel can see assassins at 125 units - flat out.
Is this the case?
Thanks
