RPs for PVE

Was thinking it might be fun to have a random Boss Type mob in each realm give RPs.
A random pop location. So lets say in Varu dungeon somewhere deep a named Boss mob could pop. If it cons to you and you kill it you get a set pool of RPs, maybe 100 RPs per lvl of the Mob that can be split between group members. Once killed it spawns a new Mob in another location maybe Nissies lair or Spind or SI or Classic land? Mob lvl changes and so does the RP pool. Could make it fun to group up and pve while lvling. Would be hard to farm because you never know where or when it would pop.

Another way to get a few RPs while lvling without going into RVR.

Hmmm, you do know what the R’s stand for in RvR & RP’s...right?

Yes I know :p. So make it a Hib or Alb or Mid type mob. Kill it for the Realm. 😀

Do these still give rps? I thought that was changed when the task system was changed or when we switched to NF?

Either way I'm not a fan of this idea.

They already reward too many realm points for not killing players, pass.

Apart from the fact that you get RPs fairly easily anyways i do not think that idea would be useful.
If it's totally random, you won't know where it can be found anyways. So most of the time you wouldn't even know it's there.
And if it's not totally random or if it sends a message out when spawning the location would be camped as many just would go there to kill it.
If it's just a handful of locations, you even could log out a bunch of alts at these locs and log through them one by one to kill it one by one.
All together not useful sorry.

Are the snow/branches/soil still a thing? Turning those in , in large amounts got a chunk of rps on task ticks.

I don’t think it matters how many you turn in
Rp’s are same for the tick.
Though sub50’s get xp scaled by how much is turned in

Rp’s are same for the tick.
Though sub50’s get xp scaled by how much is turned in

Its about 1.2k ish rps per 20k stack. After farming up about 300k Snow i would get around a 20k ish task tick of rps, even at 50. This was about 4 months ago

i believe it's not a fixed rate...your tick always depends on your participation/overall participation and the overall RP-pool of the task (with a minimum of 1) and i don't think the overall RP-pool of the task scales linearly with actions.

The numbers i have seen from different people turning in huge stacks are all contradicting themselves, and the only "test" i did some time ago did not confirm the (At that poin in time) recent theory and i didn't put much effort into it

Thats exactly what i did. Turning in 20k snow getting roughly 1.2-1.5k rps, 100k snow getting around 7-8k rps then 300k around 21k rps. Pretty steady with about 1.2-5k rps per 20k stack. With zero pvp participation other than turning in at the dock before the timer. Unless something has changed in the last few months.

I think thats the point. There was a change in the last months...
Agree with sepplord. Tested it once "recently" and can't confirm any higher rp reward.
