Reinstalled today, now I can't create characters which are gated behind a sub on the retail version

Since retail went free to play, the class restrictions on live are impacting Phoenix. Is there a way to remove this restriction? For instance, I cannot create an Enchanter or Nightshade on Hib because you cant create these classes without a sub on retail.

Try running the phoenix fixer in the phoenix folder, then hitting the downgrade button.

fixer doesn't help (i had to use it anyway because i was getting the issue where the launcher progress reach 95% then displayed "Hit Esc to continue".

Seems we need an older version of the retail client pre endless conquest update.
