Lvl 50 BD Spec question

So I am almost lvl 50 and I am wondering what most BD's spec at 50. I have been doing Supp for leveling as I found the BD DoT to be really, really bad. I can pull 2-3 yellows with my baseline dot and kill all 3 mobs before moving on because my lifetap is so good at healing along with a healing pet. Dotting a mob and running around for 1-2 minutes waiting for it to die did not seem very efficient when I could kill 3 yellows in the same time. I actually had a BD one level below me dotting and running while I was pulling yellows so I saw first hand how much more efficient Supp was for me while leveling. Wondering if it will be different at 50.

What spec for a soloing BD who just wants to farm money/items?

What spec for a BD looking to join a feathers group?

Also can a BD solo anything that drops feathers? What spec would be best for that?

For 50 BD spec I went full BA for the red dmg add + red melee pets, then 20 in supp. What I do is let the buffer put reflect on commander and haste on melee dps, then release him and use healer for 3rd pet. So you have 2 red melee pets w/ healer pet for farming then you buff all with red da + d/q you can farm blue-oj easily at 50 with little or no down time by just doting once then putting pets on them. You also get AoE dot so you could duo with an SM and dot his stack while doing your own single target pulls, up to you, but full BA is imo the best with 2 melee + 1 healer.

Group spec would likely be the same as farming, red da + best melee pets. Unfortunately you get 2 green and a grey pet at 50, so your 3rd pet basically does little or no dmg due to being grey. AoE dot might be the best aspect you bring to a group as BA compounded by the melee pets w/ red DA. I have not tried full darkness in a group, so I can't speak to what resists look like, but casting on high con mobs has always been sketchy, whereas melees will go through more consistently.

As far as soloing anything that drops feathers I really don't know what you could solo, but if you could I imagine it would be with high supp and you tanking 3 healer pets, reflect shield on yourself so that you could hold aggro with staffing + lifetap. This might be slow, but it's the only way I see this being possible as a solo.

Doesn't matter now....they totally nerfed the BD.

I have tried a load of different specs and found the best for me 47 supp, rest in either dark or Ba. I tend to use highest healer and buffer, the buffer also tanks when fighting. Using 3 pets now since the pet lvl cap came in is a waste of time unless you plan on 8 v 8, for the interrupts. Shame really as I was loving farming with 2 casters and 1 heal pet. Probably won't bother with BD now when live.

I went with 44 Bone Army and 30 Suppression. I can bring out the lvl 30 healer and 2 lvl 24 healers. I get the lvl 44 spec DOT and when combined with the 50 baseline DOT, it's not that hard to take down low level purple mobs solo if I also heal the pet occasionally, but it will blow most of my power. High level red mobs are pretty easy.

What do BD's normally do in RvR when smallam or solo? All healing pets and just dot/lifetap?
