Implement mail system

One of the "Oh wow!" features that WOW had on launch was a working mail system. Mail makes it so easy to distribute items and rewards to players, as well as sending and receiving items and money. Crafters can take and fulfill orders without having to wonder if someone is going to be around to hand physical items to, or to try and get payment from people. It's probably a big-ticket item, but I think it would be very well received and appreciated to have a working mail system.

I see the biggest advantage in such a system that you could send stuff to offline people and they ll get it as they come online while you may be offline.

When both ppl are online there is no grand advantage in sending things per mail vs do some quick teleports to each other ^^

WOW used it for more than just that.

It was also a mechanism for distributing rewards, doing quests, handling transactions on the auction house and with merchants, sending items between characters on your account (not necessarily needed with the account vault system here), among others.

I'd really like to see this as a way to move items between alts at low level, before housing becomes affordable.

There is already an account vault

i see no reason for a mail system
you can transfer with friends or housing
so its 100% useless

Pretty sure we've already determined that this server is adding QOL (That means quality of life if you don't understand the concept).

This basically means they are adding things to make the game easier and more fun.

Mail system would make life easier for people that aren't on at the same time as all their guildies or friends.

plus, why not? Not sure in what world this would cause an issue...

Actually you're the one being anti-social.

If I happen to find a nice chain tunic that I know a guildy or friend can use but I won't see for a day or 2, this would allow me to mail it to them so they can start using right away when they log on. On what planet does "be social" apply here?

Maybe I want a Barrel made by an alchy guildy/friend but they have different play times then myself. I can mail them the tears I buy with my own feathers and some gold to cover whatever cost they want and when they get the mail they can make it and send it back in the mail. Again, I am helping a guildy/friend out so how does "be social" apply?

A friend at work tells me he is going to make a new Reaver. Maybe I want to make him some gear to get him going when I get home before he is off work. I can mail him some gear/gold to help him. This way when he gets home if I am out RvRing he has everything he needs to do what he wants. How does "be social" apply?

I'm not sure who hurt you but maybe try to let people have fun in the game instead of sticking to outdated systems that helps no one especially a system that has ZERO bad sides to it, other then imaginary ones apparently?
