Leveling a Shadowblade.....flashbacks of Uthguard

Even the worse leveling classes here(assassins)
Are nothing like the experience there or initial live

Xping after 18 in the frontiers is rather easy
Also use your money wisely if you wish and buy turn in items

Do kill tasks (15 dragon mobs ....), Do xp items, level in frontier, and its pretty fast.
Ask someone for some golds, to buy portions, tinders, etc.

By the way, you are writing in the wrong realm...

try to keep heal/lifeleech gear and get pots asap its really easy unless you do roll alb, something is seriously wrong with the task loot mob levels over there
maybe im just spoiled from mid

My answer no envenom...no stealth.......changed spec to axe, left axe....went to frontier.
I will look at crit spec at 18 when you get an everytime skill.....
I will go to crit spec at 20-21-22-23 and enter Thid with respec to include decent stealth
This char only gets out of thid by realm ranking out.....so may be a while

Thid is rough for sb with inf having access to beartooth and ns/ranger having access to sidestun. Alb has crush anytime stun too. 2h 6.0 speed mourning rage perf isn't a thing on this server either.

That all makes for a major thid sb bummer.

Additionally to what the others said:
- Go FULL LA/axe or sword, only invest residual points in stealth/envenom.

Utilize the following aspects of phoenix as good as possible:
- Kill Tasks
- Mob type xp Bonus (up to 350% in some cases)
- FZ xp Bonus
-> Take a look at Tasks and bonuses with /task, /task realm, /task personal
- Mobs dropping XP items (they provide between 8 bubs/lvl at low lvl to 4 bubs at lvl 49), in case that you have a main with money, buy those that you need in hz.
-> Forum and even some UIs have lists with spawns / xp items / locs.
- Phoenix eggs as filler if you are close to a Level up after turning in the xp items
- You can visit the bgs but in most cases it is not worth it. The mob spawns there are quite nice tho (also provide xp loot which you can only turn in if the CK belongs to your realm).

Also:
- at Level 35-50 you can easily leech at least 0,8b every 30-45 minutes just by dying in fz (rvr Tasks) even more if you manage to die in range of a keep with running Keep Task. You can also turn in realm specific rvr drops (snow and so on) which also provide xp while below lvl 50. They drop from enemies and mobs.
- after lvl 35 (or was it 30?) you can also use combined forces (buff pot with everything you need)

If you have a Guild / friends:
- Ask a sham / skald duo if you can leech xp while they farm platin at redcaps (sometimes even strangers are that kind)
- As soon as you are lvl 40+, ask a friend with a full temped lvl 50 Healer / SM / Scham to build a POC Group with you as xp leecher. This is a common strategy and totally OK if the group setup if fine beside you. Your friend will farm some nice Platin + roqs and you will Level so fast you won't believe it (bomb Group).

In conclusion, it is NOTHING LIKE UTHGARD. If you know how, leveling is damn easy.

Not much to das, nunki layed it out very well...

That said, i just levelled a bard to 35 Solo, and it was MUCH faster than my sorc in Uthgard...i Think the sorc didnt make lvl20 that fast. I am sure an SB kills much faster as a bard
