Char visibility in water

I will preface this with the comment that I really like the fact that underwater combat is not a thing on Phoenix.

However, the introduction of NF and all the water has I think caused an unanticipated issue with visibility of players in the water.

On Live we could all just dive and be less visible in the water. On Phoenix diving is not allow so it turns out that small char model (Kobolds, Luirkeens, etc.) are practically invisible in the water. Conversely, large char models are very visible.

I get that people often choose small races to make it harder to target them, but I think this issue goes beyond what makes sense. All char models should be visible in the water or none.

the amount of times we have inced another smallman of hibs, just to realize it's a fullgroup is tooo damn high

im a old school noob and i struggle with targeting ppl too, after i finaly spot them

changing water animations to classic water reduced the issue for me by a large amount

Kobold's model seems completely submerged regardless of which water texture you choose. Really the only
indication I have of incoming aquatic Kobold is dread commander beelining towards me or spirit champion circling or a patch of nearby ocean popping savage shouts
