For me
Kobold for either
15/10. Dex/piety or visa versa
I think dex is easier to cap than piety for kobi so....
For pve I like the sub to the best pbaoe disease test aug
Or one less and get the higher buff...str/con
46sub/27aug/8 mend or 47/25/xx
If you won’t be grouping for raids or rvr then dump mend to zero and 46/28 gives you better spec buffs
Not sure if these buffs are better than pots though
Rvr...no clue my guess is aug with sub as secondary

Frosty or kobold. I'd probably prefer kobold but it won't make that much of a difference in the long run.

PvE spec is 46(or 47) cave rest Aug. For RvR I'd probably go 36 cave 37 Aug rest mending. But it also depends if you're gonna group, solo, zerg, or what. 41 cave, 32 Aug, rest mending could work too.

Starting stats probably 15 Dex 10 piety. Or reverse the two.

If you want AoE farming as a cave shaman, definately koby with 15dex/10pie.
Never invest points into WP, cuz those crit sucks when you have to stack mobs as much as possible.
You should invest into augDex and MoArt for faster cast instead.

What is the correct way to aoe farm? how do you guys do it.

Do you run and gather a ton up and turn around and aoe dot?
do you just aoe disease then aoe dot run and turn around repeat?

I haven't figured out how to really do it yet.

I haven't figured out how to really do it yet.

Body pull with instant disease until you have all mobs or # you want
Make some turns and disease to tighten bunch
Gather distance cast two dots
Run
Turn cast agairepeat until dead

Better to wait to 50 to try this or is it fine to start doing it with first aoe poison?

some people level a shaman quite succesfully with that strategy...but you need to know/find the spots and i am unsure if it is feasible before a certain level

Frosty or Kobie are both fine choices. I would suggest whichever one you prefer to look at constantly. The dex is clearly nice for Kobie, but it will make such a small difference over Frosty in the long run that you will likely never notice the cast speed change.
