Thane guide. - Phoenix Freeshard

Does anyone have a thane guide they can direct me to?

I'll b duoing with a skald 90% of the time.

What would be the best race for the thane? I know I'll be in melee alot slamming targets so a balance between a good caster and melee would be ideal right? Norseman?

Is the difference in spell damage significant if I chose frosty? Are frosty viable for melee or will the norse outdamage the frosty in melee by a lot?

Hows the survivability on the thane? I've seen them drop very fast by other melee classes.

Any other info and input on the thane would be very helpful! Thank you!

I'm not an expert on Thanes, but I do remember that on Live where stats mattered far less than they do here that Frostalfs were still THE choice for a solid caster Thane.
