Guard rates with large, medium & small shield vs players

Hello, I would like to know if the block rates for guard is affected by what type of shield you are using when guarding.

Small shield can block 1 enemy
Medium 2
Large 3

AFAIK that's the only difference in block rate between sizes.

It has come to my attention that the penalties involved in number of enemy attackers might not be affected when using guard, hence the question.

Yes for guard, the size of the shield doesnt matter.
The size is just important if you block for yourself.
