I cant even fathom how that's possible.

For example 100k feathers and 20k Branches so u have a lot of items

And yet there is one and only one number that matters - and it’s continuous decline is not a good resume builder

That would be 2 items, or, well given the stack sizes involved 6

So that 8.7m isnt even things like individual feathers? So a stack of 20k feathers is considered 1 item? Now that 8.7m sounds even more preposterous. Im sure this person has been checked for duping or something, but how on earth? The only thing I can think of is that they PvE only , and about as much as PK does PvP.

8 million items, 200k characters means 40 items per character. The items include all items on characters, in houses, in vaults, in account vaults

Ohhh... well you confused me then. It said 8.7m items owned by someone. Meaning a single person. I was shocked to say the least.

3.2k instances were completed with 25.5k participants

3200 instances completed is a nice number... but 25.5 participants is kinda wrong.
since that is just the number 3200 x 8.
if i do 100 ds runs, i'm just 1 participant... but counting as 100 in this statistic.

Actually thats right. Completed is the keyword. Most are completed with 8 people. so each time its completed, each person is counted as a single participant. if you do it again, youre counted again. The statistic would be different if it was 3.2k instances completed by 4.5K unique players/participants.

he's got a point though...besides semantics the intresting number would be how many different users completed content, not what the result of 3200 * 8 is

True, i'd actually like to know that myself.

Would like to know:
How many people were banned for multi account and how many of them stopped daoc because of that (never logged again)?
How many stopped daoc because of the timer (survey needed)?
etc etc

and how these changes improved the experience for others?

Proofs of your game design choices would be much more interesting imo.

Poor guy with a bad connection though and it would raise an outrage at every reboot.
On the other hand, I'm sure most of us would gladly pay a small fee per day and even 10 cents would probably help.

I have no specific clue but hosting this server must have some cost. Not to mention the time invested in developping or preparing events and so on.

We have all this for free, it's both amazing and incredible.

You would think some people are paying $10 per login with how entitled they act.

What purpose would it serve though? Apart from giving Kyllikki dubious evidence that the admins/gm/devs killed the server by banning cheats? He seems to have an axe to grind.

Yes, I was aware of that, thanks. I was just adding my 2 cents. I probably shouldnt of followed/quoted your post to do it.
