92 solo kills last 48 hours. On a pally? WTH? How is that possible!! Keep it up. <3
If you fought him on anything non caster you would understand. I would say unkillable by melee. That weapon swapping skill Is unreal and if it ever get nerfed it will be Kemy's fought.vxr wrote: ↑Mon 29 Jul 2019 4:34 PM92 solo kills last 48 hours. On a pally? WTH? How is that possible!! Please note that this is complimenting a players skill and not bitching about an ability! lol Its part of the game and if it was easy everyone would do it.

I jumped a thane and 1 hunter and an RM added and between us with some los breaks and Kemy being an absolute monster we cleaned all 3 up and wondered off. 👍 2 solo kills for Kemy 1 for me. He knows what hes doing
Kemoauc wrote: ↑Mon 29 Jul 2019 7:33 PMHi all,
I usually go to the home keeps of the realm that has foreign ports i.e. if mids hold some hib keep they can port to I go Bledmeer. Best case is if hibs have some foreign port because for some reason there is not 100 people costguarding around DC while Bled/Beno is usually well defended.
If there is none such keep I got to secondary keeps the last few days. Therefore, some of these kills are "cheap" ones of people that didn't really expect to be jumped but I usually draws attention of some other people and I end up having some good fights.
And it helps that my winrate is quite high

I would like to add that your signature is small fonts and I misread it. Good news is you will forever be know to me as kermy the paladin

I value weaponskill over the missing composite spec.
Never bothered to test what the dmg difference would be if I reduce two handed to increase slash (or if there even is any)

I had a similar relationship to this good solo paladin. BUT
Once He will let u fall, like He let me fall and killed me with last hit when i was bad hurted after a hard duel.
Dreams broke this day. I will never forgive you Kemy

I do what you say and go to where people have port etc hoping to find some decent fights think I had like 8 tonight in space of 3hrs
When I play in the day there is much more respect between players and less zerg so that's much better.
Would love a solo fight club zone but we can't talk about it lol

It is cool to see that with some effort even solo paladin can be viable. NF with It's dozends of hasteners scatteted around the place surely helps with that.
I am not sure though if it is the right balance choice that for their lack of stealth tanks gain pretty much invulnerability against stealthers.

Avoiding real fights? In DF I had more 1v1s vs Infils and SB's then in the frontier.kiectred wrote: ↑Tue 30 Jul 2019 10:19 AMThis is the exact opinion I'd expect from a stealther who spends so much time ganking lowbies in df while avoiding real fights. Oh I have seen you on DF hib side as well, guess that was for pve purposes though.
I thought it was kemy quoting me, that's why I deleted my second sentence when I realized it wasn't him. I don't even know who you are.kiectred wrote: ↑Tue 30 Jul 2019 10:35 AMBeen there once in the past few months, and I'm not stealth, and I don't log out when people start searching for me or when vanish is down. In DF you have more lopsided fights than 1v1 and it's clear from your actions when I or others start hunting you that's exactly what you want. Don't act like you're craving fair 1v1 down there.

When have I ever logged when my ra's are down? I always stay when soloers are searching for me, that's the whole point. I might log when I realize that the stealth squads have arived, no need to donate to zergers
Yeah I am always roaming. And when I see a stealther I will fight him.kiectred wrote: ↑Tue 30 Jul 2019 11:01 AMFair enough.
Just a couple days ago I was searching for you all over, meanwhile you're killing levelers in rooms that I just passed. I turn around, go back and search some more and no sign of you until you kill another leveler a couple rooms over. Happened on 2 different days quite recently I think, and one of those times you logged off then logged back on later... I don't know if it was because of RAs because you never even attempted a fight where you'd have to vanish. But I do know you came back very shortly later because I stopped searching, got on an alt, and you logged back on and killed me while I had a pull. Relogged main to find you, once again you won't come out unless it's to kill someone leveling.
As for donating RPs to zergs, I really see no issue with zerging someone like you down in df... you're getting charity RPs 90% of the time down there anyhow.

i dont care about getting put into an "unfair" situation. i run in a very suboptimal duo most of the time. i die to other smallman grps, fgs, hell, we even lose to rly good soloers who have their RAs up. i happens all the time and is part of the game.
i DO however care about the fact that you guys, after killing us, walked into the sunset holding hands.
twice.

Equally, if you're 2v1'ing dont be surprised if someone adds and picks on you to even up a fight even if they're not in the same realm as the other guy you're hitting. I do this a lot, as do many others, and yes its perfectly within the game rules. A gentlemans agreement.

sorry, but thats not my point.
i expect to get added always and everywhere. this is daoc. not some arena pvp game after all.
its the fact that the 2 cooperating realms part ways peacefully that annoys me.
anyway...im glad you guys are having a good time. im also glad your breed is a very rare one.
REVOLTE wrote: ↑Tue 6 Aug 2019 11:06 AMwhy bother responding when you completely ignore my point?
weird.
also you might wanna consider playing an RTS, as daoc is not built around the idea of "fairness". Even 1v1s are mostly a RNG&CD shitfest rly.

I get the logic behind killing some people to draw attention, but I've seen active avoidance when the attention comes. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you find some great 1v1s against other assassins but it's the vast minority of what you do in DF. And must be far slower than the alternative based on the solo numbers I see from assassins who don't frequent DF.
There's no way you weren't seeing me. I'm visible and came into some rooms less than 10 seconds after kills, sometimes from the direction you get your next kill in, sometimes passing through the next room you you kill someone in.
And to just throw this in: I don't see you doing it nearly as much as others I could name, but still a lot. We're pretty far off topic already though.

There is definitely avoidance going on in DF and logging out after vanish is down. Trying to find them is costing me an arm and a leg lol. I am not complaining. I prefer that to getting zerged. I am just confirming your observation.
