So for multiple accounts within the same household, how are these being handled?
And what determines the main account, and the start date of the ban?

Try to contact a GM on discord.
But there are probably many people trying to contact GMs on discord right now, so prepare to wait a bit for answers.

Same problem here, playing with my wife over same IP (router) both in Mid only. Neither of us was logged in to an other realm, but both get now "
Your Account has no Access to this game!". Please fix this!

What is there to fix? rules are violated players are now held accountable.
Sat 3 Aug 2019 2:36 PM by Lanathir
Exactly which rule has been violated?? No player has more than one account in this case. There is no cross-realming. Only thing is, these two people get assigned the same IP for using the same internet connection - which in a certain sense all of you do. Only difference is the network level on which connections are shared.

No two people do not get assigned the same IP for using the same internet connection.

If you're using a router there's a Gateway IP and then it breaks you down to 192.168.0.1 0.2 0.3 on the personal side.

The staff can very clearly see everything that is going on, they know if you have a router and if you don't they know if you're playing on a main connection or if you're being sent through a NAT.

So if you feel there's an issue follow the protocol and contact the game master

Already done. But if staff could really do like you said, we would not have an issue now.

If you legitimately have 2 accounts in a household for 2 people, you were supposed to notify them before all this occurred, as they requested. If you didn't, don't blame them when you contact them. Be polite, explain, provide proof. It might be some delay but you have no one to blame but yourself in this case. It was all clearly stated before the bans occurred.

Not gonna pick to many nits, but if this was highly required, it would have been best to make this a popup window to tell people.
I think many read the rules, download game, ask if it's okay to run 2 accounts in household, and never come back to forums/discord.

Personally I made an account back in Beta for my son, we played 1 hour and he got to lvl 6 or 7, that was it. I think it was Beta anyway. I really have no clue what the account name was, and not 100% sure which email I used. He never asked about the game again. If I get banned for an account that has not been touched for 6 months, was made in same realm as me, and was played for 1 hour, I would actually get a little annoyed.

Don't get me wrong. I do not want to blame anybody, but to get things fixed. I am not aware that we would have had to notify anybody. Even now if I search for any hint, that we had to do so, I cant find anything.

All fair. It was posted here and on Discord. Druth makes a good point as well though about how it could've been a pop-up, although I thought it did pop up with server news upon login.

Anyhow hope it gets fixed for those who did nothing wrong. Be patient.

If you have 2 accounts that were created on the same computer, you got banned. Regardless if you followed all the other rules. GMs knew there would be issues like this. So work it out with them. They will likely review your accounts to make sure what you say is true.

In the future, do not play 2 accounts on the same comp. Each computer has a seperate identity, so to prevent this you may only have 1 account, per person, per computer IIRC.

None of boths accouns was played on the computer the other one was.

U are just wrong.
192.x.x.x IP adresses are private sectore IP adresse they get switched on the Router via NAT to your house / Router public IP. Just for the connection in the Internet now all PCs behind this Router have the same IP address. Privat IP adresses are not routed in the Internet.
I dont know if the Checks on phönix are just about the IP Header in a connection or if they Check the d1q too.

So from serverside bouth PCs would have the same IP Adresse.

They accuse me of having 3 accounts without showing me anything.
Maybe when I registered that I started playing I created a second one, but I didn't find anything about it and maybe I used it a couple of times and never at the same time.
I have a single account, of the second maybe I remember having used a gmail box, but just check that has logged a paltry time. I am therefore banned 7 days. If I used cheats, did they use physical violence?
Fortunately, I live the same.

Thanks for hijacking my thread. But I appreciate the advice.

I've contacted a GM regarding this issue.

Please /close.

You are both right- 192 range is non routeable but the client can collect and pass the up address for logging.
