What’s the upside ? Does the +10 int give any meaningful damage to the instant and cast?

The toughest Nightshades on Phoenix were always elf. Lol, Not a single Lurikeen was good, for the first few months atleast.

5 dex and qui vs 2 slash resist isnt going to change your life. I like luri because....small. And LOS break/less noticeable.

Hey man, im saying the first three months there were only 3 nightshades that were any concern. And they were all Elf.

Just teasing. Elf/luri feels irrelevant to me tbh so the size bonus feels the realest. I’ll respec some day and test probably.

True - Shurtugal, Silentblade and Xann kicked ass - but again they were killing a crapload of rr1 and rr2 while todays ns are going up against 6-11.

dex almost means nothing for a bladeshade, and getting higher str/con is far better than losing qui.
I'm pretty sure most of NS will select celt if it becomes possible, including myself.

I only fought Shurtugal one time. I will admit he was one of the tougher NS, but he was about to die until McNasty saved him. I almost smashed my keyboard through my monitor. Damn you McNasty...

Basically luri or elf means the difference between 5 dex and qui or over 2500 dmg dealt to you by slash a 50hp saving. Choose what you like. I think luri helps me hide in plain sight more

Well my Marla is a human rp wise. That was sadly not possible as celt is not allowed. The 20str/con more would have been a convenient bonus but not the reason to pick the race. She is definitely no Luri though so Elf was the only option left.

If the name Zokora would not have been taken that would be hers now and I'ld be happy with being elf for that's what Zokora is.

PS: yes there are really roleplaying reasons
