Was in holiday for 2 weeks, and had no chance to vote against NF in your unique ingame vote and for shure i am not the only one. So why we didnt get a long lasting forum vote for such important change like other votes u did?

Maybe, but just maybe..
cause there is not everyone active in the Forum.
But almost every active Player got the possibility to vote Ingame.
And everyone sees it straight away.

Unfortunate situation for you, i'm sorry for that one.
But imo it was the correct way to do such an important vote.

If you ask 1000 people its more or less enough. Doesnt matter if you were in holidays since statistically the 2936 votes of a mixed grp were correct to +- 1.8 % at that moment.

For every one that didn't get to vote, and was against NF, there's statistically 1.6 that didn't get to vote and wanted NF.

I'ld say the sample size was a little small to base such assumptions on

I thought the execution of the vote was maybe a little bit rushed but nonetheless we got a result and now will live with the consequences

If we assume a potential Phoenix active players as 50,000, people who made accounts, which I think was what Uthgard got on launch.
Then 3,000 respondents is in statistically terms very accurate, and means your margin of error would be no more than 2% (been a few years since I studied this...).

So yes, for every extra 1 OF vote, you'd get 1,60-1,64 NF votes, so it wouldn't change anything.

If we had prolonged the vote, and not posted any results, for 1 month then there are a few scenarios that could have played in.

1) The most eager to vote would be people that want change (like you often see when people review stuff, people that are unsatisfied are more inclined to voice their opinion). So over time the pro OF would have gotten around to voting.
2) People who vote are people that are here because of OF, and those that didn't vote were people who left due to OF. The longer you prolong the vote, the more chance there is they hear of the vote and log in to vote.
3) Nothing changes, and % stays the same.

I personally think scenario 2 would have happened, which is why I would have preferred a prolonged vote.

Now I mean no offence, but you and OP "lost", in the sense that what you wanted didn't happen. And that funny enough always makes people want recounts, extensions, or even go as far as saying the vote was cast on false grounds (Brexit example...). Humans do not deal very well with not winning, DaoC players are in no way different from this (radar, speedhack, templating/charges, adding, zerging, etc etc).
Had OF won, this post would have been made by someone wanting NF, and my arguments would have been the same.

In regards to your last part, I really wish people would "will live with the consequences" a lot more graciously.
You seem to do, in fact you are very polite and articulate when voicing your opinion. But some people act like 5 year olds who just landed on the most expensive hotel improved space in Monopoly.
