, sorry but the class is running along side easy moders such as bds necros and mincers kiting with pets .

I don't get it, how is SM a cheese class on phoenix? There's no brittle guards, no ML9 pet, no nothing. Peeps complain (not you in particular) that less visi solo, well all casters have it very hard soloing, adding on them will just break even the most resilient ones at soloing attempts

How's SM pet supposed to work? What needs to be fixed about it?
I would disagree that SM is cheesemode class to run solo. Visible without speed can be very frustrating and only a couple of people do not add, such as Bluna <3

Only class in the game that can eat a perf chain, stand still and cast one QC lifetap and literally just stand there and not die before your next QC is up. I dont even attack SM anymore... literally unkillable. More cancer than BD's.

Maybe that can happen in a 1v1 (played sm on classic live, only champ levels + mounts), but how often is a solo caster getting a 1v1? My personal experience on my SM Aesha was: minstrel mezz pet, stun on me, perf + scout plink plink dead in 2s. NS perf with 2 rangers plink plink, dead. Not even going about other visi / duos etc.
Plus you always have the option to vanish on sins if things don't go as planned (yes, I know not 100% faillproof), but SM (and heck even BDs) are miles from what they could do on live with ToA / ML etc.

Vanish is bugged here. Pets do not care, so if you stealth or vanish they will follow and attack you.

I attacked SM 2 times with my NS after the pet got buffed and then stopped. There are better things to do then feeding rp's. The SM pet should really not be able to intercept if stunned. Midgard basically has 2 cloth wearer that are harder to kill than any tank with ip 5.

like i said, only class in the game that can get away with standing still executing one action every 30 seconds and still not die.. forgot to mention there is a good chance that said assassin gets zerged down in that timeframe. Really needs a nerf.

Nightshade attacked me, I dropped purge, he vanish.
5 seconds later an Infi attacked me, I dropped moc, he vanish....
5 seconds later nightshade is back + 2nd perf from the returning infi.. Ofc they did not attack each other 😂

The two vanished and then had to come at you with more. Yes my point exactly.

With a SM you do need to use RAs to get the 1vs1 kill, that's fine with me.
I roamed today a bit in solo/duo and found an abundance of necros and bonedancers that do not need to drop a single RA to get rps. That's OP. Together with minstrels throwing purple mobs at you. Or throwing red Ellyl Heroes mobs hitting 300+ per swing on a tank.
Any class that has to burn RAs to kill is fine, the easymode ones are the ones that need nothing for the kill.
There is one thing that Uthgard did better than Phoenix: making BDs a class that used soooo much mana that you needed a decent rank only to keep up with mana. A deterrent for the one button wannabes that you don't find here.
Leave SMs in peace, they are strong but not god mode like the ones aforementioned
