Make OF an XP Zone - Phoenix Freeshard

The vote went to NF, it would be nice to see OF stay as an XP Zone. Maybe we could make it north of the frontier castles again. Each realm would essentially get four more XP zones without threat of RVR. Low level groups could actually level there.

not bad idea. make keeps raidable with challenging feather mobs/master boss on like 4 hour respawn.

The reason players continue playing games is PvE, not RvR.
Anything that adds to that PvE (that does not force you to do it template, but rather out of sheer curiosity and group play), is the key to maintaining population.
I like the idea if it doesnt FORCE you to do it for end game template reasons, but just more content.

Simply put, there is absolutely no reason for the Devs to even invest any sort of time into this... you have both classic zones AND Si. There is more than enough PvE content. They even added custom PvE to provide more challenges (DS).

Also, if they start changing things around in OF, it would be a lot harder for them to maybe switch back at some later point.

Well that’s a bit closed minded - there’s no reason why OF zones can’t be recycled. Can even make them pve only. Each realm keeps their own frontier and keeps can be disabled or “haunted”

You want to pve in the frontier zones, its risk vs reward. There are enough xp zones to level up in.

Want and need are two different things, haven't you learned that yet? You might "want" OF as an xp zone, but you really don't "need" it. So many other places already set up for that, would be a waste or programming time.

Can use OF zones for post-50 junk akin to CF/RM/LB and DS
'Disabling' rvr there is as easy as removing ports and jump poonts from the rvr dungeon entrances or replacing them with entrances to further custom dungeons
