Hib Stealth Zerg - Phoenix Freeshard

Would anyone be interested in starting a stealth squad when the server goes live?

We'll just ignore that Alb won't be overpowered in the stealth game. ;P

Uthgard was severely lacking in the stealth game.

I may obey the guidelines of the visible premades 8mans on my visible toons, but in the stealth game, all is fair as far as I am concerned.
I want people that won't be afraid to add on an 8v8 if the opportunity arises.

Me and my partner plan on rolling rangers.

Got my NS to a decent lv so far to do BG: lv24 Silvershir ... let just look up play time together as stealth team :-)

I have a 40 Ranger...should hit 50 by the weekend. Will have to wait until I hit 50 to RvR as I've been neglecting stealth as I level in PvE.

This thread makes me sad. Claiming to show class for 8v8 yet rolling in groups for the solo game....

There is no solo game, did you not play Uthgard? The 8mans rolled over the soloers until they didn't solo anymore. You think Phoenix will be any different.

Nope, I never really got into uthgard. Played plenty of live and have been on the receiving end of plenty of "stealth zergs." With MOS changes and other changes there is a chance for solo and stealth game on Phoenix. Not sure how forming a zerg serves any purpose either way but gl hf. I'll see you out there.

The solo game is hit hard with the absence of buffbots on this server. Everyone in a group will be fully buffed, stealthers won't...that is a HUGE disadvantage on top of the numbers disadvantage.

This is a game for all tastes. You want to 8man, find some buddies or pug it up. Want to small man, grab fewer buddies and have at it. Solo your thing? Bring a box of tissues and a police r@pe kit. Some days you'll get that sweet 1v1 win and need the tissues to clean up (/wink). Other times groups will treat you like prison meat. Like Merlin said, "RvR is like a cookie. You never know what you'll get until you take a bite, but then it's too late".

Put your big boy pants on, apply the lip balm and go get some.

PS: Name the time and I'm down to form the guild. My ranger is 27th atm.

Been sitting out in the 2nd bg all week looking for any action... Luckily i'm about to ding out so hopefully there will be more action in the next one. Get a few lvls and we can face off in the 3bg.

There was never anyone in Thid so I just leveled on past all the BGs. It is so fast to level here I don't think we will see much BG action. I made level 23 to 35 in one day last Sunday just solo kill tasking as a Ranger, then playing a couple hours a night I've made it to 49.5 yesterday doing the same thing even taking time out to level up Alchemy.

Some people will zerg, some will 8 man, some will smallman, some will solo. It's all good. The server needs all kinds. I enjoy taking down duos/trios and working around the stealth zerg as a solo nightshade. And of course the satisfying moment when you catch a stealth zerger alone, away from his friends. You can feel his panic through the screen

Going solo means I forfeit the ability to whine about being zerged. They are usually easy enough to avoid if too challenging to kill. Doesn't mean I look down on those who don't solo. Play how you want to have fun.

When the server goes live, I think once people have a toon or two to 50, they will level alts for the BGs. With /xp and /rp off, it will be possible to park there. Action will be stronger in the bgs once the initial rush to 50 dies off.
