/rw teleport is killing solo gameplay

For me its starting to be really hard to find somebody at milegates in mid or alb to kill because everyone have some keep where to tp. So basically now my gameplay is getting zerged or added in emain and finding a quickdeath or else go to the big zergs that take keeps and wish someone is just a bit behinde and dont call friends just after ingage..

So basicaly my routine of Mid solo\duo at hmg is death because hibs have keeps around..

Wish you switch to nf or at least with those number remove teleports from mid\alb. Maybe only in emain it make a bit sense but if a solo cant exit emain can still try alb\mid at least. Now encounteres are lesser and lesser in mid\alb and everything is around getting added or adding in emain.

I assume OP is on a speed class, or stealther, and then yes then teleport is bad.

But not all solo on the above.

Yes im a Minstrel, im pretty sure that NF will win the vote and so this problem will be resolved. But as now when i log is really a bad situation for my gameplay. Usualy if i want to small\8man i play emain and ok no prob, but if i want to solo the alb\mid maps arent working anymore. You can wait 10 min at hmg Mid and nobody will pass. If you try to catch the zerg that take keeps you will die after first guy getting owned and call out it in /bc..

So if we did not have /rw teleport, and had fg's or zergs camping the milegates instead of pveing keeps (because nobody cba to pve keeps without /rw teleport let's be honest here) that would be great for solo gameplay how?

If you want solo gameplay to be a thing, you want NF because you can roam without chokepoints and chances to run into other visi's or small men, if you know where to look are high enough to give you good runs (plus you can pick up afkers left behind by zergs etc).

My honest opinion, I don't care if we stay in OF or move to NF , I will play the game as long as my friends do, that's the reason we are here in first place, to have fun together.

I had some wonderful fights near Fens in NF, where stealthers and minstrels would go to gank xp'ers.
Apart from the obvious vanish crap and sos, they were still fun 1v1's.

just wait near the walls of the other realms, its a pain in the ass to get through walls in emain as a solo and if you play a stealth class well rerole a speed class, stealthers dont need easy choke points they can camp

Because, believe it or not, when people have to actually run to a location, they are vulnerable. Especially those doing so solo or in small groups.

When that running part is completely removed by a teleport, it means they can literally skip any encounter with a stealther they may have had.

It was the same when they allowed porting to flags, I complained then about how it killed solo action.

I don't see how this is such a hard concept to grasp for some people.

Yes phix, you have a good point, my point was that if zergs stopped going pvedoor in OF because /rw port was disabled, cause nobody wants to run for 30m to get to a keep at caster speed (cause you won't get a zerg running at speed 6) with no chance to stop the attackers from taking the keep in like 10m top.

So they would just go to a mg and camp it. Then that realm would be sort of done for if they don't have the numbers to break through - like hibs or albs camping MMG in emain, nobody would get through, and you would not get any solo action or catch near mpk either. Sure you could go to HW / Odins, but you can do that now already.

I am just saying that NF is better at accomodating all types of play / numbers, or at least does it better than OF. My buddy Atheos (SB, solo always 100% never groups or disco in stealth channels) had high doubts about NF since test started, yet by the end of it his opinion changed from his own experience of getting and finding fights / picks etc. He even made sevarl posts stating it and explaining how and why he changed his view on NF.

I can grasp stuff, but it must go both ways to get anywhere (not aimed at you in particular, by any means).

You have zergs camping at Emain not mid\alb, even with x3 the numbers we have now there was not to often fgs camping milegates at mid\alb maps at the time so now is even a lesser chance.
Anyway Mid\alb maps are actualy not used expect for keep take so you like emain or you like emain, at least months ago mid\alb was the capital of solo players..

For now i will just stop here because im pretty sure community had choosed NFs and so there is much more space to find some crucial nodes like docks ecc.

learn to camp docks or from one portal keep to path one has to take to another they cant port to
