Hi, i wanted to answer the post about me but it was closed

1 i liked a lot killaloth reply but i was sleeping and no more rps
2 i reported myself to GMs in discord before the nerf because i read someone writing about me 'abusing of multiplier', so i began to feel like an animist casting 13 pets on same GT or on a wall, or a hunter strafing and backstiling someone sticked to him. It s something i dont like, so i wanted to speak about this because maybe my playstile was hurting someone. i had no written answer from gm but the nerf is a perfect answer
3 herald is buggy i did less than 2,5M in one week, maybe 1,5 :p
4 soon you will not see me online, it s not QQ, just vacations, 10 days and i ll be back

Your play-style was not hurting anyone. In hindsight it now seems obvious that with a substantial increase in the number of fights that could increase the keep multiplier (ie at the towers and keeps) a large multiplier will be the result if someone actively tries to get to and fight at every location under attack, the fact that the ports and the boats in NF made it easier also must have helped. I noticed you also had a large amount of deaths this week to achieve that multiplier ;-). There is very little difference between your tactics and those of the Hib Zerg over the last few weeks.

The new multiplier of 2 does seem rather low, 3 would have been better.

Fixed it with a Shotgun.

I like to run groups but I understand some people like to do keeps, no problem there but now I wonder if the goal of NF is to slow everybody down in terms of the RP gaining. NF keeps take much longer, multiplier nerfed to near pointless, who exactly is benefiting from any of these ideas?

Most of us figured this out during the Molvik event but most of us had the character not to exploit it.

I don't believe that is the goal of NF per se, but it seems to be the goal of the dev's, all the changes in the RvR tasks and rewards in the last month + have resulted in lower RPs being rewarded. Personally I thought it was obvious too many RP's were being rewarded when we had people hit RR7 within the first month after the server launched.

Who benefits? The people at the top of the RP tables that are still playing. They have the advantage of the extra Realm Abilities that those easy/fast RPs bought them.

unfortunately i m not a hero like you: molvik, multiplier 9.75, mids inc hibs under a tower, i TWFed arriving from lake: more than 200 ticks, dont remember the kills but screenshotted my 40k bonus multiplier +2k guild bonus

Due to the molvik event we disabled it for towers already before starting NF and thought that would prevent it to get as high as it did in the molvik event. What we kind of missed is that someone will always be in the last keep a realm can teleport to, ie DC / bled / beno, which makes it possible to always attack someone in those keeps causing it to count as a keep fight with enemy player involvement which increases the multiplier. If you do that for 8+ hours a day the multiplier gets rather absurd.

I agree a nerf needed to come into player but the 2.0 multiplier makes it just not worth it now. I'd advise not putting a cap on the multiplier, let it go up to whatever however cap the rps earned to like 2k or 3k per tick after the fight and it would still be worthwhile.

There are always those who will find every angle to exploit every new change (even temporary changes that remove some safety mechanisms already put in place.) id lead with caps and then relax as needed.

imho they found a fast solution to deal with this extra rps. With time they can put back a big multiplier (4X ?), extend it back to towers, and remove the count of dmg on pets and especially on guards from multiplier. As i told to GM Saibaba i can give some feedback if needed
