Legion Charge items and heal pots= Over the top.

Think it was a mistake to introduce these Legion heal charges on top of heal pots, both insta and regular. Seems this server is going down the live road of self heals chaos mid fights. Basically you get free IP2/3 with the 2 heal charges on every class. I laugh now when I play my Scout and slam someone, get some space and hit them with both a Crit shot and a regular shot by the time they reach me and they simply pop the legion/heal pot and wham back top full health almost. Same when I was on my Friar, legion charge and insta charge stacked with heal proc staff AND reflex 5 is so broken it's not even funny. Guess it's not a big deal for any class that has Disease but for those trying to kill someone without disease it's a total mess. /rant off.

An unintended consequence of the charge rework. Every fight now decided by use of legion charge + pot or 11.3 damage add charge. These weren't really available 100% of the time with charge juggling and now are. I brought this exact issue up in the planned changes threads and was pretty much chastised for it. If you don't pop one of these charges vs an opponent that does, expect to lose.

how much does the legion heal for?
Mon 20 May 2019 7:01 PM by Mavella
The same as the standard potion so 225ish+225ish on demand available every 2 minutes. I'm gonna guess buffed most classes have 1500-1750 hp so expect it to be a 25%-33% burst heal in most circumstances.

IP2 for reference is a 35% heal on a 15 minute cooldown at a cost of 10 realm points.

Stat charges we're game breaking though.

I don't think it would be such an issue if the Legion items needed to be part of your template and not just an item sitting in your inventory.

Really don't understand the reasoning behind enabling inventory buffing.
Put items on a 10 min timer from equipping them and you will remove a great deal of the issue.

But I understand that will make groups OP or something, since they have heals and buffs not on a timer, and don't even need to equip them... (sarcasm detector exploded)

thats a really bad idea and just forces people to retemplate again, live did this numerous times and people were really pissed. And the Legion charges got patched in later when most had their final template on their first few characters. If they would change that now and force people to retemp you can be sure you will lose quite a few players. And I never found those legion charges that much of an issue. Sure as archer without much melee specc you got a problem, I also escaped many times thanks to that use out of the range of archers. But what else are you supposed to do if those archers stand on a hill next to a zerg of albs and you cant engage them... most Archers I met are just leechers and adders no reason to show those orportunists any kind of love.

Everyone expected this would happen except devs. :p

Ok, so you can use the legion heal and a heal pot right away? Or does one trip the other's timer?

pretty much exactly what we told would happen once the stat charges got nerfed.
many people wanted it, now live with it

Agreed. Being able to use items from inventory is definitely easy mode. Equipping an item to /use it on live reset its use timer as well preventing fast swapping items just to /use them. That's balance.

yep... so now IP2 users who've invested into that RA are simply on par with folks who invested a few hours for the charge item, and now must also invest a few more hours to also get said charge item to once again be back where they were to begin with. Sounds like a familiar circle we're seeing.

Well, technically you could also say that IP2 users have double IP2 now...

after investing in the charge item yep. My point I guess was on top of their 10pts into the RA, they must now invest more time/effort into getting a charge item. 10pts RAs = 2 hours epic dungeon.

Or just buy it off someone, that takes 1 min.

If someone can't be bothered to invest some time in optimizing his charakter then why should otheres be punished for it that do?
It is the nature of a rpg that you invest time in a charakter to make it stronger.
