Assassins poisoning weapons for others

I thought I read somewhere that assassins were no longer able to apply poisons to other people's weapons but I cant find it now. Should this be the case?

Asking in advice some people said they can apply it but it wouldn't proc, yet I've fought a paladin (Elno) several times and he always has poisoned weapons

You can craft str/con and dex/qui debuff charges as well as typical dot procs on weapons. Are you sure you're seeing lifebane and enervate? Screenshots were certainly help make your case here.

I'm fairly sure you're right in that poisons shouldn't be proccing for non assassin characters but that may have ended being broken in recent patching.

Think it works as long the Assassin is still ingame, aka you cant use a poison bot

Yep definitely not supposed to be able to do that anymore. Might want to submit an actual bug report.

So in this case it must be a bug and therefore a bug report in Bug tracker worth.

Greater infectious serum is not a charge. Hes poisoning his weapons on an alt and xftering account vault, or having someone do it for him. Unintended feature with the new live client update im sure. As previous stated and shown patch notes .

Its intentional bug abuse at best. Ban him!

Na sector is a different guy. I was sektor the nightshade camping outside of crauch so I thought you meant me. Now I’m sektor the friar as of 2 days ago.
