Same thing here, and a few other friends in discord have also communicated experiencing the same thing. I wonder if there was perhaps a server hiccup? Or if we missed an announcement for some sort of planned down-time/maintenance?

Attempting to use the launcher produces a "No proxy selected" error message, and takes no additional actions.

This effectively prevents users from logging in.

Also - If there are any ways in which a user might be able to manually flush their pool of available proxies and refresh that list, that would be great!

@Dev staff - this ^ would be a great utility to build into your launcher if it hasn't already been considered. I would be happy to help build out user requirements and success criteria if you guys want extra feedback on that as well.

Hi,

had the same issue, no Proxy.

First time I restarted my PC, worked.
Later I again didn't have a Proxy. Started the launcher as Administrator, worked.
Later again no Proxy, just restarted the launcher 5 time, worked.

Keep trying, worked for my. I think the Problems as inserted externally

Nothing works for me, i tried:

1. Open and Close the Phoenix Launcher many times
2. Run the Phoenix Launcher as Admin
3. Restart the PC
4. Deinstall DaoC and reinstall + Patcher

No method was working for me.

Give them time to fix it. It could be related to the DDos attack crap. They are working on it folks just be patient

Tried it all. Nothing worked.
Couldn't play for days now with a stable connection, now no login.
While i understand, that the attacks on the server are to blame for this,
it makes a part of me want to move on and spend my time in a different way.
It is really time for some stability and reliability.

Same, cant login, says no proxy selected, but there are no proxies to select. I tried reinstalling, etc etc.

I believe maybe the proxies are down?

And no I didnt make any manual changes to DNS or my local host file, or anything like that. This is strictly either server side or client is acting up.

But it does not work for everyone - they are still working on a solution.

Have deleted Phoenix files
Downloaded and Installed new patcher
added and removed the host redirect
restarted pc several times
tried to log in over 100 times
updated to live
etc etc

The ONE night of the week I get to play and I cannot get on the server - typical

Devs, please post an update or at least recognition that there is an issue and you are working on it

People need to calm down, the devs are working on it. Coming here to post about it when other users have already relayed the status would just waste more time they could use to fix the problem.

The proxy options were a fix to the DDoS problem, which was out of their control to begin with. Yeah it sucks when the server is inaccessible, but getting pissed is just showing you don't appreciate their volunteer work. Be patient.

I was playing fine tonight, I went LD now I have no Proxy, rebooted and tried all logins, and re-installed still nothing

OK, patch to live, then re download phoenix launcher... make sure you click the fix maps etc, then launch it, i got in using this method.

I had this problem for the first time this morning,

The server restart made some / most of the proxies crash, was my mistake for not telling other staff people to not restart while I'm not around until auto restarting of the proxy stuff is enabled.

Hi all,

This was still not working for me this morning, but i managed to fix it and discovered something while doing it.
Thought maybe this could be of help to someone out there

I have URL Filtering in my home firewall, and this was blocking access to several public IP, based on the fact they were not categorized yet.
I then allowed access to 'unknown' URL categories, and BOOM - all proxies are now visible.
