Game Options Unavailable in Character Selection Menu for Larger Displays

If using a display that is larger than 1440p or 27" - there is a good chance you can get yourself into a bind by configuring your resolution settings below that "native" resolution.

What I mean to say is that if you happen to set your resolution below the default/preferred 2560x1440, you could end up in a situation where your menu options become completely unsuable.

Due to the unique window scaling limitations that the game's default UI presents, I had attempted to turn my resolution down... (sounds silly but I was hoping it would make certain windows like the Attributes and Inventory windows and what not larger to take strain off of my tired old eyes... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sadly it didn't do much, and the windows that felt small and too far apart across my 27" monitor still feel the same, and the only thing I have succeeded in doing is bugging out my menu option buttons form the character selection screen.

Current Resolution 1920x1080
    Windowed <Yes>
    Fullscreen <Yes>

Issue: Character Selection Buttons (Along the bottom of the page) are no longer clickable.
- The only button that responds when hovered over is the "Options" button, but when clicked - the button actually generates a "Delete Character" confirmation window... and that Sh!z is Scary! :O
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Other interesting things to note about my current daoc files/environment:
    - I had recently downloaded and installed the needed files to fix my crafting spells.

Yeah... reverse that.
Delete the game.dll file in the main DAoC folder, run camelot.exe to patch and try again.

Also, if you change the resolution to a different aspect ratio than your actual screen has - especially for fullscreen - than it's not suprise that you no longer can hit buttons where they are as the GPU is streching everything, causing buttons hitboxes being out of place.

I do run 3440x1440 myself and never had any issues with it.

Thank you for the feedback Ashock!

FYI- I haven't tweaked the aspect ratio at all, my display still runs in 16:9, but I have fiddled with the resolution scaling within those parameters. Mostly using appropriate settings for that ratio, so 2560x1440, 1920x1080, and 1600x900

Mostly I was doing this because the Game is so old that the UI elements kind of hurt my eyes, and not all of those actually scale, but I think I may have to download or build a custom one if that's something that is acceptable within the scope of our ToS agreements. (Definitely going to review those again first)

I would appreciate any recommendations that people might have along those lines as well

Thanks all!
