Did the server maint mess with realm timer ?

My acct says last active @ 8.41 PM it is now 8:59 AM and it will not allow me to switch ? Now as long as I do not hit play my timer does not reset right ? another way to put the question is if I went to the char select screen and did not hit play is my timer safe ?

Server is showing "12 hours ago" of your last char login.
Though the server does not instantly refresh the timer once expired, so while you have been 12 hours offline you may need to way like 5-10 additional minutes before the server's getting that information.

ok still waiting and its now 9:45 am .. Ill keep checking ..
