it seems that the very first moment the fight starts (4 seconds in), even before you begin to style, you hit tweetz with 4 reflex attacks. it seems that reflex attack even triggered on every bleeding damage and dot damage. am i seeing this wrong, is this how it's supposed to be?

maybe it triggers on dmg shield? because the dmg tweetz did at the start was super small (dots would be more dmg)

As a Merc with RA 5 the only time RA attack triggers is when a combat roll is initiated by the enemy attacker. The 50% is applied to dual wield weapons individually so if a DW user attacks me it's 50% on MH and 50% on OH. Two handed users it's 50% against the one weapon. I've never noticed it "trigger" against any other form of dps other than melee (bow, dd, proc, poison, bleed, etc.).

Edit: From the video it looks like Tweetz opened on him with both weapons, had a double reflex attack (from both weapons connecting) followed by a subsequent double reflex attack after the next combat roll.

Ahh, it doesn't matter if the attack is parried or evaded. As long as melee combat is initiated, reflex attack has a chance to trigger and can subsequently be parried/blocked/evaded as well.

It's possible but I've never noticed it. But if it does then that'd need to be fixed. I've only ever observed melee combat triggering RA on my Mercenary however.

It looks like it should be a bleed tick, Its too low for a poison tick, would be appropriate for a weaker damage add buff.
