Does Static tempest give stun immunity ?

Is the 3 seconds stun duration shortened by determination/energy resists?

It's not as we want it right now (I think it's still the useless OF variant instead of the announced / intended NF variant). Once it's reworked it will not cause immunity and det will affect the duration.

If det/resists will affect duration, that means a 3 * (1 - (0,55 //det9 + 0,25 //stoicism )) * (1 - 0,26 //temped resists) = 0,4s every 5 seconds

Looks like I was wrong, det doesn't affect NF ST -> Won't affect it here either.

Resists won't shorten stun as well ?

Currently Static Tempest does a 2 second unresistable stun every 5 seconds
AND
Resets/removes stun immunity timer

The first part is fine, but is the second part?

With it resetting stun immunity every time it does it's 2 second unresistable stun, it means a Thane can shield slam non stop and even with purge you're eating the full 9 second duration stun every time.

Is this intended?

RA stuns should be on the Spell Stun Immunity Timer. Melee stuns should be on their own timer.

Unfortunately for Thanes they're really the only class that can exploit this feature. This may have been one of the many reasons why slam on non-heavy tanks was reduced from 9s to 5s duration.

Thane's have the ability to dish out 210-230 dps per single target nuke as well as melee for 200+ dps with 2-hander, plus they can reset stun immunity if slam gets purged as long as they have ST.

It's a niche scenario that a player would find themselves in this predicament, but it's quite a powerful combination for Thanes especially with their dps output.

Champs can and do use it to reset stun immunity for slam as well. More reason not to eff with a champ 1v1

I didn't have much success with resetting stun immunity since the first tick seems to be after 5s.. People just Purge, then I use ST and they simply walk out... Even if you snare them its enough time to get out of ST range.

The immunity reset is intentional, ichor behaves the same way and wipes slow timers.
ST is a premium reason to have a thane/champ/friar in groups. Don't take it away from them.

No offense, but if you're a Thane and you drop ST it doesn't matter what the enemy does. Either they stand with you in melee and eat the stuns, or they try to run and you nuke them down with 250dmg lighting bolts at capped casting speed. ST is pretty OP on a thane 1v1

Every class can work a DD charge into an escape and you won't be eating a single casted spell on the way out. If the thane drops the unfair thing with no answers to it, and camps in it, you can just leave.

Because that is what it sounds like.
