Game keeps minimizing to desktop

So when I log in to the game it keeps minimizing and when i click on the game it appears for about 3 seconds then minimizes again. I deleted the user.dat file but its still minimizing.

Did you give windowed full screen a try?

I can't get past the chose your realm screen. Wont even let me pick one before it minimizes. Is there a way to change the resolution and window mode without logging in?

There is a user.dat, should be in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\
Inside is a section with [main]
I play with fullscreen windowed mode and these parameters are set:

fullscreen_windowed=1
windowed=0
screen_height=1080
screen_width=1920

You can also try to just delete this file (back it up), it should be made with default options and should start the client in default mode.

Thanks for your help. The only thing that has worked was changing the resolution on my pc to 1024 by 768. That has stopped it from minimizing to desktop when i run the game.
