RoG´s after release / Bow Classes / especially armor procs

So far, as i read on the forums, theres no plans on changing the RoG´s and implement proper loot tables, except for special high level items.

One major problem of Bow Classes atm is: Theres no penetrating arrow that penetrates a self-casted bubble. So you generally waste the high dmg shot. Afterwards, you have to spam normal shots on the target - but get interrupted by the reactive procs of the RoG-Armor.

Is there any plan to change this in the future? If no, theres no opportunity to solo on a bow class, or just hunt down low level enemies.

Do they rupt on 1.5k range or on 2 k+ range?
There wont be many people running around with proc damage charges in rvr when they got their SC armor^^

Actually dev's have already said most pieces in a template will probably be ROG drops with only a few crafted pieces as filler. ROG will generally be that much better.

I don’t think this is true. Regular RoG items will stop dropping at 45 and I highly doubt you’ll be able to win enough of the high end boss RoGs to puzzle together a template where the majority of the pieces are RoG. Perhaps over a long period of time you could acquire enough of them to make a suit, but it would be counter productive as it is easy enough and undoubtedly cheaper to cap stats without them. Plus, if they stay the way they are, they have a good chance of rolling a bad proc.

They definitely need to fix procs interrupting.

I don't know whether it is reality or not but I do remember one of the dev's telling someone who asked whether crafted items will be the top and he said most likely not. he said some items like the necklace from SI would be best in slot and he also said good ROG items would be used more than most crafted. I will need to look for the post but I remember it fairly clearly.

I do agree procs should not interrupt.

So he says feather items are better then crafted and also jewelry items from 75+ bosses will probably be better.

Not saying crafted won't be better, but what I am getting is most templates will only have a few crafted items if you are after BIS.

Even with 80 Utility stats are capped and dd procs break roots. Henca if you want to compete in a grp you getter get rid of roc armor

The situation won´t get better even if most ppl would use crafted armor. Casual players would still rupt you with their RoGs, while the only enemies that won´t rupt you by procs would be fully sc´ed.

That´d be ridiculous. I know, on live, the mechanics worked like this. The major difference was that on live, not everybody had RoG armor with proc, while on Phoenix, everbyody runs around with RoG armor.

Bow classes shouldn´t be nerfed down to only be able to attack lower level players - which still have a chance to rupt.
