Whats the actual ban policy?

I was just Banned for 24 hours and I am curious as to what the actual policy is. I want to insure I am playing by the rules as I am not one who"cheats" and/or has ever been called a cheater. If I am in the wrong please let me know. I have a unique situation where I have the ability to remote access my home computer while at work. What I like to do is remote log into my account and set my BD to attack a single mob location. I let my BD pets farm a single mob (or two depending on spacing) while working on the other screen. I am not AFK as I am sitting at my PC and I am manually casting buffs on my pets, actively healing my pets (if needed), and organizing/selling my inventory. I have a extremely hard time seeing how this is against the rules? However, I may be mistaken and would like clarification. I can see banning someone if they are macroing or something, but to simply ban someone for not paying attention is crazy to me.

Hmm, a GM will test you, I’ve watched what they do, if you’re there the test is impossible to fail. I’ve caught 4 or 5 (1 in alb frontier) afk farming. Last night in the NE corner of Uppland I found a BD afk farming but couldn’t resist killing him. 😀

AFK leveling is not allowed.

If you are actively doing something you are fine, but if you aren't they teleport you to a quaint little testing area and test to see if you are botting or afk. It is almost impossible to fail unless you are afk.

If it is exactly how you stated then most likely a GM thought you were afk leveling which is common and ported you to the test area and when you didn't respond they put a ban on you.

If your characters name is Dejavue then you are listed in the ban section as it being your second offense.

unless GMs changed their banning habits, you will be afk tested.
Often, they will let you farm on for couple of minutes and they go through the logs in the meanwhile, looking for scripts...and THATS the funny part. no testing. No porting. Banhammer.
Muhammad aka Stormbreacher likes to farm Rauma on his BD. xD

luv it.

From what I’ve seen that isn’t the process. They don’t look in the logs for “scripts,” and what would that show anyway? The tests are pretty simple really. How does the player respond if a mob aggros right next to them or what do they do if moved to a different spot, etc.

Lol this is a good one. Says he's not afk...gets banned for afk farming. Another april fools joke? Almost as good as the one guy who got caught macro twisting and said he was disabled with a mechanical left hand that could be programmed.

Ban policy is:
1. Offense, you get a warning
2. You get a 24h Ban
3. You hopefully don't do it again, because then bans are getting longer and longer, untill we are permabanning.
