GTAoEs and the recast timer

Does the dev team ever plan on looking at GTAoEs or is this unloved spell-line going to continue being the red-headed stepchild it is in live?

It's an extremely niche use spell that doesn't do anywhere near the damage of a PBAoE (half damage and casts slower). I feel it could stand to have the recast timer removed and it would still be on the weaker side.

I don't particularly like keepfights, but if you remove the recast-timer on GTAoE it would mean 1 GTAoE could wipe a lord-room defense without any risk whatsoever, safely from out of LoS. I don't think removing the recast-timer is a good idea.
