Does "/whisper task" still exist? If not, what is the replacement?

I don't see how to do "/task".

I can't just type anything that I want into a chat window. I can choose "/say" to say something, but there is no option to select "/task".

I did somehow get a kill task from a named guard in Mag Mell (I was level 1), but after completing it I don't seem to be able to get another kill task there. (I'm currently level 3.)

I have been trying selecting "/say" and then adding "task" to that, but that doesn't work, even when the named guard is clearly selected.

I can click on the "command" button and then on the "task" button on the popup, but that only tells me about tasks, and doesn't seem to be a way to get kill tasks.

Is there only one kill task for someone leveled 1-3 in Mag Mell? Or is there someone else to whom I should right-click or /say task?

/task is always active in the background

you get it automatically if you kill mobs strong enough (up to lvl20 blues are enough for solos, then you need yellows)

Correct macro/command would be /task personal and /task realm.

Under /task personal you can see a list of mob types. If you kill 15 of a type you get bonus XP (always half a bubble, even on higher levels). After that you have to kill 31 of the type to get the next bonus XP (again half a bubble). So you can decide if you want to kill 31 mobs or just switch the mob type where you only have to kill 15.
There are also realm tasks (/task realm). Basically any RvR action (even if you only get killed) gets you the participation reward (some RPs and a bubble (?) of XP).

Usually you level with a combination of collection items, mob kill tasks and realm tasks. 10 XP items mostly give you a full level on lower levels (when turned in at the lowest possible level). Later (40+) you only about get half a level from the collection items and have to "fill" the level with the tasks mentioned above.

Kill tasks are always active, You don't need to talk to anyone once you complete them you get a nice exp reward and gold. they are tasks like:

Kill 15 insects, kill 15 animals, kill 15 huminoid creatures. once you complete them you get the reward, then the task becomes harder and you must kill 31 of that creature for the next reward. The mob must be blue, after level 20 the mob must be yellow.
every day they reset back down to kill 15

Also, in a group they have to be higher con, I think yellow (OJ after 20) with 2-4 and OJ (Red after 20 ) with 5-8.
Exact reset time is midnight GMT, 8 PM EST, 5 PM PST
