/Bountyrent personal - Phoenix Freeshard

Hello boys,

I used this command /boutyrent personal 4000 on my main to pay my house, i lost the bps ofc, but still have the message pay or loose your house.

Is this command bugged ? what about my bps ?

Whether it's a bug or working as intended, it seems like paying house rent with BPs just isn't advisable right now.

Are you in a guild?
Are you eligible to pay the rent for your guild?
Is the guild house rent due?

The message can be about your personal and the guild house.

Personal house, I just did /bountyrent personal 150 and it only gave me 15 silver worth or rent, not 150 gold like it is supposed to.

Would be really nice. I dont care about fancy shiny weapons, so it would be cool to do sth with BP. I dislike farm money...

this function should be removed IMO

why? last time we checked it was: 1bp converts to 10 copper. so for 1gold this would be 1000bp.
or 50k bp for a weeks rent on the cheapest house. just use gold to pay the rent, it was okay when it was 1bp is 1gold.

Its a bug that its not 1-1 , on live it was never anything but that, 1 BP =1 GOld.

I literally lost 100k bps doing this. It was changed without notice whatsoever and completely got me by surprise.

How can you "lose" 100k bps?

If you (for example) did bounty rent 1k like before the change, you get the correct message how much gold 1k bps is going for now and it is up to you to decide if you want to buy the remaing also with bps or with gold. If you type /bountyrent the system even tells you the exact bps/gold rate. So it is your own decision, if you want to use /bountyrent or not. There is no surprise as you have to actively type in the amount of bps you want to spend on your house.

After reading some complains here and on discord about not making this change public, i have to admit that we should have listed it on the patch notes. The reason behind this decision is, that we thought it is not a huge change and it is quite common that not every minor fix/change makes it into the patch notes. Sorry for the confusion, but we didnt do this with bad intentions.

But why change it at all? It was the one reasonable thing to do with bps. With the current rate you must be stupid to pay your house with it.
1bp=1gold was fine

I also don't like the change but the argument that it was never like this on live is not a useful one.
