Druid pet buff

The stun that the druid/sm pets do is supposed to be a safety net for when fighting someone or if you need to kite. Det 9 makes this completely useless... I don't think this is okay. There should really be a minimum stun time of at least 1 or 2 seconds regardless of DET. If you guys are gonna make custom stuff that makes a skald godlike for instance than please for the love of bajeezusus give druids a small buff so I can duel and have my stun work like it was supposed to be able to! This is a no brainer balance-wise to add counterplay where it is supposed to be. Thank you for reading and I hope to see this implemented!

You are correct sir. This is indeed a Nobrainer - Caststun is affected by Determination, was and will always be.

you act like pets aren't used to interrupt casters mainly. I'm sick of people QQing about their already OP classes just cause they can't beat every realms classes XD
Just remember when you make a character, EVERY class has it's bane, no matter what you pick. no matter what you temp.

IMO druids need nerffed, they don't need a 4 second recast instant AoE speed breaking, spell interrupting insta that they can just spam in group fights. Considering most if not all larger groups don't already have 2 or 3 bards/druids on Hib side.

What's the range on it again? bolt range? lol and it's AoE? and it's instant? no... Druids can eat a fat turd lol jk, but for real though.

Hey guys I wan't to be able to heal, CC, and have speed AND have an insta 2300 range interrupt and now I want my pets to do more damage or have full snare/stun lengths on characters that are supposed to be realm ranked into Det9 and still have full effect. This would make Det a very much less sought after RA. which would mean the tank classes would eventually spec out of that RA and go more offensive which would in turn make pain trains more painful, then we'd be complaining about what?

i guess you confuse the bard with the druid, they are different classes.
Then play midgard healer, there you have heal, CC 2x instant stun 2x instant mezz and root , Speed and 2300 range amnesia spam interrupt...

The stun should be the same like wind theurg pets or cabalist stun pets, nothing more or less - its basicly a pet melee stun and not a cast-stun. There should be regular immunity but the stun should last for 2/3 seconds as its intended.

Skalds weren't really supposed to have Det either at this patch or did everybody forget that. They should buff the pet so there can be some counterplay. Bd's exist and their pets are 1000% more oppressive than my green tree pet that should stun for 1-2 seconds but can't. Funny how the realm with the most OP characters alwasy jump at the chance to hold back people with reasonable characters asking for a legit buff.

This is the only server where the counterplay of being able to use the pet to help kite has been nullified by a custom change that made skalds way OP. I want my classic DAOC counterplay back not some custom thing that is one sided in favor of the realm with the most OP crap.

Druid pets could use another tier at around 44 or 45, but the problem you're running up against is Det in general, not really the pet being weak.

It's hard to imagine an easier setting for skalds to thrive in, than Phoenix.

The funny thing is, they were already possibly the most popular solo class before SoS and 55/22 det.

What another poster already said. I'd be fine with a higher tier pet at 44/45 for the nature druids.

I still don't understand why skalds were considered appropriate for determination. It should probably be removed from them (although that'd piss off quite a few players). They're already group necessary for speed alone.

Yeah skald is the go-to class to roll if you want to do everything solo or in a group. My personal favorite is grief the leveling grey skalds nonstop. The problem is that there is just too many to keep up.

I dunno...Uthgard had a similar setting, and most of the solo game was based off Skald/Minst, assassins, casters with speed, or battle-bards. Here, assassins got nerfed with no dodger and no more poison swap (not even drag and drop), a few casters gained a couple tricks...minstrels and bards are mostly the same...and Skalds literally benefit from almost every custom change here.

55/22 Det, amazing ability.
SoS, amazing ability.
None of their songs/shouts use end, pretty awesome especially if they want to:
Legal use of 3rd party macro programs to put all their resi-songs on one spammable button...awesome.

I applaud the OP for getting out there and soloing on a Druid...

I really don't see a solo game developing with current settings though...at least a solo game beyond Skalds running around.

I'm soooooo sorry XD, my bad: Bards... Very similar to healers and other CC classes, except wait.... it's an instant, not a castable... oh and a castable one too. my bad guys..
