This skill would be similar to bladeturn and would make the character 100% resist the first spell casted on him.
I believe currently casters have a serious advantage over melee. It's at the point that some caster groups are completely unbeatable without Speed of Sound (but then they also have it, so they can run awy... so either loss for melee or casters run away, can't win). Due to bladeturn the first melee swing always misses, be it a slam or style. If the same rule would apply for casters then it would be a more balanced scenario.
Maybe it would be "or" with bladeturn, so a character could have either bladeturn or spellturn up at the same time, but not both.
