Reavers - Phoenix Freeshard

SO after RvRing a bit I have come to realize a few things about old style reavers. 1: If the enemy has purge you are most likely dead as they do no damage without Levi. 2: When Mythic gave them the insta snare it made a huge difference in the class viability. 3: Having your big DD/LT off a 4 part chain is close to impossible to land against stealthers (which you fight 75% of the time). And finally vs kiting classes which is super prevalent (BD/Skald/Rangers) there is no way to counter this other than trying to run away. Sad. Now go ahead with all the "git gud" keyboard hero nonsense.

Die you ever try to bait the purge with a low Level stun? If you use a 3 seconds stun your target has just 12 seconds immunity and i think you can survive that

Forcing all the idiot Rank 6+ stealthers purge with my numb Style is just to funny, These retards purge the First stun they get eithout checking the duration.

well on the other site a skald is usually dead in slam if he doesnt have purge up and with the amount of "solo" tanks running arround most skalds probalby dont specc to fight tanks like reavers or other lighttanks with slam, easier to just take their speed and let them rott in snare and find something else to kill if you dont want to take the time killing them with dds. But I dont know why anyone would even bother playing a reaver solo with just hastener speed at keeps.

Yeah the numb route works from time to time. Maybe it's my low RR and my choice to go Purge5 then passives that is causing me to at time not even live through the 10 sec cooldown of the numb immunity. And as for any Skald who chooses to get toe to toe with a reaver without purge well they are just dumb. They can break keep speed and just DD us to death while kiting. Nothing a reaver can do.
