Ranger not ruptable while shooting, if melee engaged from pet ?

Hey there =)
Just a question, not a complain. I was running in fz yesterday with my -then- little sm and got shot by a ranger.
After doing /face, i saw that little luri not too far and my pet already running towards him.
Pet hit him several times, i saw the animations (pet hitting and luri crying/getting hit) but received nevertheless 2-3 arrows more.
I used playing ranger on live, and remember i hated it being rupted while shooting then, so i just try to understand what happened.
Was it volley ? I don't see any other possibility as i can remember being rupted even if using rapid fire back in the days.

I think pet level matters. If your pet was green or lower, I believe the interrupt is not a sure thing.

Are you sure he was alone?Archers usually dont go alone (suicide)

I didn't see anybody else, and in the log only his dmg to see... /shrug
I wasn't a difficult target, sm as at that time only 40-41 iirc.
